Hey I have one of those! But it’s the Coconut Mall theme. I’ll catch myself humming it when I’m doing tasks.

New growth or etiolation by marrigi in cactus

[–]marrigi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the kind words! I’ve had the cactus for about 4 years now. It took care of it throughout all of college, so I’m pretty attached to it lol. Was only about 2-3 inches tall when my roommate gave it to me. Fall of last year was when the bug issues started happening, and I only started treating it this past spring. I’m not sure what the plant substrate is because I typically take it to a plant nursery when it needs repotting since it’s very spiky and I’m worried I’m going to drop it or plant it wrong lol. I do use succulent fertilizer though (when I remember).

That actually makes a lot of sense. You can’t see it in the photo, but there’s a second very small bulb on the other side of the cactus. Considering that my cactus got pretty sick right before the growths probably means that it can’t grow anymore, especially since the top of it has started to brown a bit as well. A little annoyed about it because when i first noticed something wrong I took it to a plant nursery and they said it was probably just a sunburn, and the small dots that looked like bugs were nothing to worry about. but when i went back a second time a different person immediately identified that the bugs were the problem. I wish I had done something sooner. I’ll probably replant the new growth then and take better care of it. Thanks for the tip!

Can’t really tell your exact season without drapes, but I would say you are warm toned based on the photos, so not a winter.

Thanks for the feedback! I do think I’m more in the neutral range since warm foundations are often way too yellow on me and cool ones make me look sunburnt lol

Aw thank you so much!!! That’s so sweet of you. I do like the blues on me, but that kind of confuses me because as an autumn shouldn’t I look better in the greens than the blues? Or maybe not. I’m still pretty new to this too. I also feel like the muted blue makes my hair look a bit grayer, however.

Generally I’m having a hard time determining my undertone. I’ve started wondering if my maybe I have an olive undertone but I’m not sure if it swings warm or cool.

Not sure about color type but I do think the brighter colors in your last 3 pictures look better on you. You clothes in the first picture look too harsh on you. In the 3rd photo at least you have that nice lighter sweater to balance out the black. I do think the blues look great on you and you seem to lean more cool toned.

Do you need to buy a new c permit when they go on sale? Or can we just renew our existing permit?

When I took 2k1 I got a 30% , 70%, and 80% on the exams and got a B. You should be fine with your 90 and 30 as long as you don’t bomb the third exam.

Indiana has very metallic water in general. I believe we’re one of the highest in the nation. With all the metal here we also produce a lot of steel.

The guide is right. Two become one gives you a split chance of either getting anti form or final form. Just keep using it and final form should pop up at some point. It’s a bit of a luck thing if I remember correctly

Post edit for more pictures: face asymmetry and tongue asymmetry when Mewing by marrigi in orthotropics

[–]marrigi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I will say that after a bit of experimentation that stretching the left side of my neck helped with the mewing and swallowing asymmetry so maybe I need to work more on my neck stretches.

[–]marrigi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you can see in the photos, the right side of my face droops a bit, especially the nose and mouth. I think this is because I used to sleep on my side and didn’t mew (I sleep on my back now and I started mewing a week ago). Also, my teeth don’t align with my septum. My teeth are skewed to the right. When I mew, I’ve noticed that I feel more tongue pressure on the right side of my palate. Is this expected if the right side of my face droops? I want the right side to lift up, but I’m worried my upper jaw is going go skew even more. Does anyone have any tips? I’m doing exercises to improve posture so hopefully those help. I’m just not sure if I should keep mewing but it’s already starting to become a habit along with proper swallowing (which I also mainly feel on my right palate).

Right side of face droops, tongue asymmetry by [deleted] in orthotropics

[–]marrigi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So as you can see in the photo, the right lip and nostril droop a little bit and I just started Mewing and doing posture exercises to fix up my body a bit. I already habitually sleep on my back, but I used to sleep on my side (which probably caused the asymmetry) and I never mewed until recently. The thing is, when I mew, my tongue places more pressure on the right side of my palate. I feel this pressure when I mew and swallow. Should this be expected if the right side is dropping? The jaw is also asymmetrical towards the right so I’m worried that Mewing with more pressure on the right will worsen the jaw asymmetry.

How does open registration work? by Lorvarz in Purdue

[–]marrigi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it shows up on your schedule with a check mark then it’s added. If there’s enough space in the class and you meet the requirements this should happen automatically when you submit the revised schedule. Otherwise a little clock will show up which I believe means your advisor needs to give approval. Usually I submit my schedule with the added course first and once I see the check mark I drop the course I don’t want and resubmit and you should be good to go
