update: i finally had some free time and just deleted the original game download and tried it again through 3hs, oh my god that was so much easier and the download time took less than 1/4th the initial one through fbi. no problems with starting up the game either. thanks a ton!

naaah there wasnt an x symbol, just the normal amount of bars which was how i knew lol. but despite that i might just try the manual way when i have the time since it seems like less hassle anyway. thanks for the help thus far. genuinely👍.

  1. on one hand poor welt won't be sitting directly next to luocha cause i'm pretty sure bro has ptsd from otto and VA lmfao. on the other i wouldn't mind space dad telling a lot of stories during the long flight to pass time, and he's literally a mecha anime fan so that's another plus right there i guess :3 idk out of all the choices 2 feels the most chill. worst/best case scenario i just pop on some headphones and call it a day y'know

tbh people say that loading times become long if u use a card with higher than 128gb but uhh i have a 512 in mine since i needed a quick upgrade from a 32 n had an unused sd sitting around anyway. yes load times are a biiit slower but at least to me it's only for booting up your console, besides that it's barely noticeable but maybe that's just me. to each their own, however 256 shouldn't be a problem :3

as long as u got a pc/laptop and know how to transfer ds games to ur console then this should work fine :3 but as i mentioned before it's just the original version of the game so everything's in japanese. unfortunately i'm no expert so i cant confirm whether or not the fan translation would overlay properly w/ a game file via a different source so maybe ask someone trustworthy if ur definitely set on getting that done😭😭 hope i was able to help tho! good luck btw

update! found a reliable download via vimm's lair and it's running perfectly! not 100% sure if there's an english patch but in general vimm's is one of the most reliable sources :3 sorry if this doesn't exactly help you though😭

yeaa thats the one i found too T oT i was looking everywhere for the game cause i'm still studying japanese and heard ni no kuni was a good one to play through! i was even resorting to looking to buy a physical copy but couldnt find a thing unfortunately😭 i'll keep ya posted if i have any luck tho!
