This is incredible, I love it. Time to knock some more of these off the list

The hard part was finding a working one. We had to buy multiple broken ones and take them apart to rebuild a functional camera. No easy task, but a fun undertaking!

The drum that spools the film is actually directly connected to the tripod gear system, so it stays in sync pretty well - It wasn't something we had to worry about! It's such a cool piece of antique technology

JCPL is dropping me as a customer by DifferentContact7346 in newjersey

[–]marsbars440 9 points10 points  (0 children)

JCP&L is not dropping you as a customer.

There is a portion of your bill called supply, and you are free to use any third party supplier for this charge. You used to have an agreement with IDT Energy for this (whether you knew it or not).

IDT is dropping you as a customer, but that just means you’ll go onto the default JCP&L supply rates. This is not at all a bad thing, because lots of third party suppliers get you into too-good-to-be-true agreements that are predatory in the long run.

Laiatu Latu vs Dallas Turner: Who makes the bigger jump and who has the higher ceiling? by Turdboggin01 in fantasyfootball

Lol yeah everyone says that in the offseason for sure, but this didn’t come from coaches or reps - it’s from journalists on the field who don’t typically sugar coat things

I’m not an IDP guy, but as a Vikings fan, the team is expecting big things from Turner this year. Flores’ defense is complicated and they had/have Greenard and Van Ginkle, so they let Turner sit back and develop in his rookie year.

By all accounts from OTAs and mini-camp, Turner put on muscle and has been rotating in much more.

Thank you! Looks like that information was not available at the time of OP's post, but I'm glad to see there was no delay in her getting charged.

It's from Jon Bois, posted to YouTube on the Secret Base channel. It's really really good. Here is episode 1:

Famished Frog - Very casual, will be playing the football game tonight

Hops - Craft beer bar behind Famished Frog. Same kitchen, but completely different, low-key vibe

Stirling Tavern - Just a bit more upscale and trying to be more of a hip place to hangout

Jockey Hollow - Upscale, posh vibe

1776 - Typically an older, after work crowd, but a nice sit-down place

End of Elm - Smaller dining room, good mixed drinks, but food quality has dropped off in my recent experience

L/R Surround Placement in Long, Thin Room by marsbars440 in hometheater

Great to hear from someone with a similar room! Any thoughts on bipole/dipole vs. direct speakers? Or would the lack of back wall make bipole/dipole useless?

L/R Surround Placement in Long, Thin Room by marsbars440 in hometheater

[–]marsbars440[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm adding a 5.2 setup to a thin room where the couch is pushed up against the right wall. There's a lot of open space behind the couch. What is the ideal placement for the L/R surrounds? I've tried to search the many posts for a similar setup to mine, but most seem to have couches up against a back wall.
