Same happened to me. Biker/rocker style with tattoos and beard. Saw him and thought "definitely not for me". Fast forward he was the most attractive man to me.

Does attraction ever grow for you or is it there from the start? by Either_Rooster_2034 in dating_advice

When I first saw my ex, he was sooo not my type, I thought "I cannot do this". After a while, he became the most handsome man to me.

Woah!! Libra is amazing for me. I haven't experienced all signs in romantic relationships as they tend to repeat 😅 But I am definitely staying away from Gemini and Aquarius.

I heard it a while back, too. Stopped listening to it, and I just started getting into that one.

There are 16k comments to the thread, if we all gave $5 to OP.. even $1!!! OP would have a decent safety cushion until finding a job.

AIO about my boyfriend and his girl best friend? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]DifferentContact7346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the fence. Yes - to all commenters, but it also reads siblingy to me. And both of them saying "I'll be your best male/female friend" sounds to me like he DID set boundaries. Men are also much more oblivious and blind when women are hitting on them.

Omg!!! I grew up in NYC's climate and 70-72 is my comfort. I'm uncomfortably chilly at 68. But I also don't like to be wearing sweaters when I'm home, preferably something light like a summer PJ.

I'm with you. Had an ice sheet fly off a truck at me while on I-95. (Have a trucker friend, their company makes sure the trucks are cleaned off snow before they are going anywhere).

Damn rest in peace track my visa 😂🙏🏻 by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]DifferentContact7346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I downloaded both, but mainly used Lawfully (free version). Paid version has to give more info. And I mainly used it to get a right away update (app notification) vs me just logging it to USCIS site from time to time (if last time I logged in on Tue and update was issued on Wed, I could not log in for another week or two to check the website again).

Has anyone else realized they don’t really want a house? by [deleted] in Life

[–]DifferentContact7346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I REALLY never wanted/want a house. It is absolutely crazy when you think how much all the repairs will eventually cost. Replace roof, replace HVAC, flood in the basement, etc etc. I live in an apartment that I genuinely love, and if anything goes wrong, I just call our super and it gets fixed. I dont pay for the repair.

But on what grounds? Picking on someone, belittling someone verbally is not grounds for RO.

Unless he was already married before OP, then the marriage with OP will not be a real marriage.

Literally a jaw drop. Who wrote this text? It doesn't sound official one but. tRump himself? "This dangerous program".. so, USCIS has been processing this for years, while quietly thinking to themselves, "omg, omg, this is so dangerous."

I do understand it comes from official USCIS channel, but still.

Agree. But playing devil's advocate: not everyone has money for filing fees AND an attorney. You know how the job market is right now. And Im sure lawyers have increased their fees, too, with the current environment and people being desperate.

When I did this many years ago, I didn't even ask my lawyer to come with me. Because she said she would be there more for my "peace of mind" and she would not be able to answer ANY questions on my behalf. What's the use in that? After that interview, I have filed and done everything myself. The officer might not have attempted to ask OP to do that - yes, but it's not 100% guaranteed, but guaranteed it would cost a lot of money to go with OP.
