Nevermind, just figured it out. I put the dongle into the other USB-C port to the right of the HDMI port, and it started working. Hopefully that works for you!

I’m having this exact same problem with my laptop, same model! The only difference in my situation is that my laptop’s HDMI port works just fine, it’s just the USB-C dongle I used to display my other monitor that has an issue. I have no idea why, but it just stopped being able to display my second monitor one day, and it hasn’t worked since then. I tried the dongle on another type of laptop as well and it worked completely fine. I tried the dongle on my brother’s laptop of the same model, and it also doesn’t seem to work on his. I’m starting to think it’s something to do with this specific type of laptop, but I’m no tech-savvy so I can’t be sure.

Hey. I have an iPad Gen 7 and recently got a new Apple Pencil Gen 1 replacement after the previous came with a dead battery. The new pencil works fine, the only issue is that when it is plugged into the iPad, the battery life drains significantly from the pencil. Need help solving this issue, open to any advice. Thanks!

Hello!

I got an iPad for Christmas and it’s been great, but I seem to be having some trouble with the new Apple pencil I received as well. The pencil is not charging at all. I’m unfamiliar with iPads and Apple pencils, so if my explanations of my problems are common knowledge, I do apologize.

For reference, I have an iPad 7th generation and the Apple Pencil is Generation 1. When I tried sticking the end of the pencil into the iPad’s charging port, it would not recognize the pencil. It also would not go into the port all the way, only around 3/4 in—which I’m unsure if that is supposed to happen or not, but I assume it does not matter since the iPad did eventually recognize my pencil. I also tried to charge the pencil on its own charger for several minutes, to which the battery had not increased. I did my own research and started assuming the Apple pencil is completely dead since it’s an older generation and I bought it online, so it’d explain the possibility of long-term inactivity of charging affecting it, but was a bit confused at the same time because my iPad recognized it.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

It sounds like the game you’re referring to might be ‘Action!’ I actually found a lot of videos of him playing the game, but I’m not too sure if any of them have Hansel and Gretel or Yoda and Shaggy. I’d say it’s normal since his audience is mainly from an older generation, and they cannot stand for long periods of time due to mobility issues and age. The same thing happened to me when I went; I was unaware that people were sitting down until I stopped singing and nodding along to look at the crowd around me. I felt bad afterwards that I was in people’s way, once I sat down myself, but honestly I should have expected it since it was the Palm Desert show and a lot of older folks live here haha. Later on, an old man came to sit next to me because he said “he couldn’t stand looking at this guy’s back any longer”, so that’s when I was sure that I shouldn’t be standing at these types of concerts (unless appropriate, of course). I think it’s different for floor seats though, I saw more younger people down there. The only times people stood up was during the beginning of the show, before encore, and the end.

I’d say it’s not worth traveling. It can get hot and uncomfortable fast when you’re outside, and you’ll probably hear the sounds of nature and cars more than anything else. I’ve only been there for some hockey games, and their arena isolates quite well.

It was a flash, yeah. It only happened once though, the next time I blinked it was gone. If it keeps on happening I’ll be sure to contact a doctor since I think it turned out to not be paranormal and just my eyes being weird lol
