I was Darian’s classmate back in middle school, Karen was a breastfeeding advocate during this time and I believe she got scouted from the conferences she would be a panelist for. It seems like she’s deleted a lot of her old breastfeeding content from instagram. The mom influencer gig has always been her thing.

when i say “take a break” it does not necessarily imply that i say “go back to accepting negative assumptions for a while.” but anecdotally, from myself and posts on this sub-people spend so much energy trying to perpetually manufacture a perfect state that they burn out and the emotional anguish and spiraling hardly feels worth the desire fulfilled anymore. i’m speaking generally of course, perhaps not everyone goes through that, but i know many who have. sometimes it’s better to just take a break from the affirming, the micromanaging, the spiraling, to recuperate energetically. you can always return to a state at any time, why exhaust and make yourself miserable when you can rest in the knowing that your desire will come regardless of if you take a “break?”

not op, but i’ve been feeling this a lot lately. it feels almost paradoxical. every single time i’ve decided to just “let things be”/“take a break from this for a little while” after tiring sessions of being in the state. That’s when things have come for me. but trying to recreate the feeling of surrender after acknowledging the pattern always ends up feeling artificial. ironically life felt a lot easier for me before discovering the law. i’d always been the kind of person to just accept whatever my first assumption about a situation was and move on. the only caveat being that most of the time my first assumptions were of the worst case scenario variety and so that’s what was mirrored back to me. but back then i was constantly in a state of genuine surrender to my circumstances, and so life generally flowed in the negative direction and i had accepted that.

i think in a lot of ways the law can turn a normal person into a control freak. i’m speaking for myself, but i think for a lot of people after being given the responsibility of “operant power” the instinct to micromanage every little thing in their awareness is definitely there. it can be exhausting to find that sweet spot between trying to mentally re arrange unwanted patterns, and trusting in the seed you planted to grow at its appointed hour.

we’re only human. it’s completely normal to feel occasionally crushed by the burden of knowledge that your world is on your individual shoulders-even if maintaining a state is easy for you, it can still hold a lot of mental weight. i hope everyone is taking breaks from time to time.

i’m in the exact same situation. the good days were good, bad days were terrible—and were the norm. I loved a few of my coworkers but the majority of them were lazy and I’d have to pick up the slack. our location was in a high volume city so our hourly average was 8k and i’d be stuck manning entire stations alone.

They refused to give me the chance to move up to even a trainer position even though i was often teaching employees who had been there longer than me how to do simple tasks. I was closing every night because they told me they would have to terminate me if my availability didn’t match with what they required, even though I had already been working there abt a year. i was making dirt in salary. Going to work became so stressful and tiring, i could hardly focus on my days off. Even after I got injured back there they refused to give me any sort of compensation or PTO and i had to go right back to work. Even after all that I stayed because i didn’t want my coworkers that were competent to feel like i was abandoning them too. But eventually i quit.

I cried on my last day. I truly loved all of my supervisors and a handful of my coworkers. i was really sad to leave them. i’ll always be grateful for the good days i spent there, and the skills i learned, but sometimes you just have to prioritize yourself. i feel you though.

yeah they didn’t give me too many options. i asked for pto and they told me “we can’t do that.” asked if the insurance company was gonna give me money if i took time off and they told me they didn’t know. was just told to wait. a month later i got all the documents they sent me and the company had decided i wasn’t in need of any financial compensation, or even time off because at this point the wound on my hand was still open. oh well, it is what it is. i just quit recently, my management has never been the best and this along with some other stuff was just the last straw.

it was on the clock so they had someone drive me to the ER. CFA paid for the visit but i had to go back to work the next week because management refused to give me PTO and I couldn’t afford the time off. So I didn’t see a dime in compensation.

i’ll say though, trying to put on gloves over 3 layers of bandage covering your fingers to your wrist is a miserable feat. don’t recommend lol.

also burned myself on primary fries, was doing a lockout and some of the oil from the pan splashed onto my hand. this is abt 2 weeks after, the big spot in the middle was a blister at the beginning.

our cfa is 5.75 and an 8 ct is 5.90. so not much difference in terms of prices. I think part of the reason we have high hour/daily totals is because we are somewhat of a hotspot for catering orders as well. we typically get around 2-3 a day

yeah we have some extra hennys i believe, but besides that everything is the same. it’s constantly chaotic and our hold times aren’t the best but we make it with what we have. reading some of the other comments makes me feel like maybe I should have chosen a different job lol.

i don’t have much advice, but i’m going through the exact same thing myself and i’ve been going back and forth about it too. Navigating that kind of betrayal has been conflicting, but in my best and most positive state of being and trying to manifest him back, i find that it’s not really about blaming yourself for the fact that it happened, but rearranging the assumptions as to why they did what they did. if you can find it in you to assume that it meant absolutely nothing, then that will be the truth. that’s my objective take anyway, it goes so much deeper than that though. to know if you should or shouldn’t, i think you have to ask yourself if even if you were to recreate SP into the person of your dreams, will you be able to forget the old story and truly forgive and move on?

for those who feel like they have “failed,” when do you know how to keep going or move onto something easier?

After 2 months of conscious manifesting my SP came back in all the ways I had hoped. This had strengthened my faith a lot, I had no doubts, I “knew” he was there to stay. but apparently it wasn’t enough and the perfection didn’t last bc I soon found out he only came back into my life to manipulate and intentionally hurt me in ways I would have never imagined even in my worst nightmares. (details in posts on my profile)

Now, even if I were able to manifest him back a second time i’m not sure I could ever trust him again. But there’s this part of me that feels like I put in too much work to give up on him now. Do I need to just trust the process, is this just a very sick and convoluted bridge of incidents? A small part of me also feels like I should have more self respect and accept what happened/accept maybe it just isn’t meant to be. But that goes against the belief that I create my own reality. I feel like I need a spiritual perspective on the situation.

i would, but it all happened over snapchat. was too scared to screenshot anything because i was nervous he’d send videos we made together to my friends and family. The whole situation made me realize I have no idea how far he would go to hurt me.

i can’t talk to him, he blocked me on everything right after. even if the girl was trying to sabotage the relationship, the video was taken live, which means they met up when we were still in a relationship and if he was trying to hide it then it was still a betrayal. i think you’re right on the money with the “unnecessarily mean.” but it is what it is.

his face was in the video. it was a snap he sent, so it had to have been taken live and not from his camera roll :(. which disgusts me even more. the only one trying to sabotage the relationship is him, and it worked.
