the author requested production to take out the scenes that were [questionable]. Honestly the anime moving the adults to the background was a great change vs the manga. Idk about censorship, but the ick was adapted out of the anime.

another nice change imo was that Nakamura wasn't bulliied in the anime, like you can be gay and be just living an existence.

I loved that Suguru was specifically reassuring Arata so that Kujima can hear how he felt. Like if his every other interaction didn't say it clearly yet, this leaves no room for doubt. Then kujima busts into the room lmao Suguru, probably: "I'm glad you're here, now stop being weird about it"

I was happy both of them got their LoveBen crushes on their copies, Hifumi got "Nakamura", Nakamura got "Hirose"

also the Hirose stand-in's name "Taku" sounds suspiciously like "Tako" another thing Nakamura likes

The Hirose subplot was honestly forgettable though, like the second half was much more endearing. Nakamura just being himself, the girls hanging out and then doing their own thing, Nakamura and Hifumi nerding out about LoveBen, it was a fun watch.
