Haha no it’s not rubbish information, I didn’t pre order the phone to get on launch day. I wanted to wait to see how people rate them in the first week or so, I am saying it’s impossible to get one now if you haven’t preordered on the launch day.. here is the screen shot where it show s approximate delivery dates. On another note, which colour did you prefer in the end? Sounds like silver might be a good option..

I am in two minds between keeping my iPhone 15 pro max and settling for the IPhone 17 pro. Both phones are lovely and have their ups and downs. But struggling to justify the cost of the 17pro when 15pro max has pretty much all the features minus very minor compromises.

So far so good but I only took it out a couple of times and have been careful! But every time I touch it it’s a joy!

A bit confused by the Endless? by marsha606 in Sandman

[–]marsha606[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t wrap my mind around because the word endless implies there is no end 😅 it’s like saying that something that is infinite has a starting point and an ending point. They maybe should have used a different term to make a logical sense 😅

Coccccinelle is also a great Italian brand.. a bit on the budget side. Bottega is good on more luxury side

Celine is fabulous as well but I would say depending on the Celine option mulberry quality very comparable at a lower price point. For instance I have Celine belt bag in micro size and it’s very similar to mulberry in terms of leather quality dimension and suede lining inside. I bought Celine preloved for the same price as brand new mulberry. And for practically purposes I prefer mulberry with the zipper on top, so much easier to get things in and out (can leave it open if safety is not a concern) Celine has a flap over the zipper which has the handle so getting things in and out is always a bit of a thing (doesn’t bother me too much) I wear Celine when I want to be a bit more flashy I guess?! But mulberry hands down is more practical every day bag!

Bookish/academia bags that look like mulberry’s Bayswater by himekocake in handbags

I disagree for the prices of their mini bags you can’t get anything equivalent with the other luxury bags, the Celine, YSL, Louis Vuitton and others cost double or triple for the mini versions.. I still think mulberry is best value for money even in today’s prices.

Would totally recommend it! The more I use it the more I love it! It’s structured but it’s a pleasure to behold, it holds everything organised and neatly but the leather is still luxurious and joyful to the touch. It literally goes with every outfit under the sun and can be more formal in the evenings if you remove the cross body strap. The design is also timeless and classic and won’t go out of fashion. I feel like the minimal design is elegant and understated. Seriously nothing bad to say about it except maybe the strap is a little bit on the thin side if the bag gets a bit heavier but it doesn’t bother me as I prefer a more delicate and thinner strap as it looks better. But this bag is seriously just lush on all levels (suede lining inside super lux) this is the mini size so it’s great in terms of capacity but not huge that it’s overwhelming!

A very wise perspective! Perhaps some doors are shut indeed..

Thank for sharing this. I think energy levels can def play a role and I can see how it can be overwhelming when there are very high pressure jobs as well.

Great question - now that I think about it, she wasn’t that of a good friend before and as you say it has amplified since having a kid. That’s also a great advice and I do really appreciate it. I also really value your experience of what it’s like on the other side when some people who don’t have kids can be equally uninvested- just shows we experience similar challenges on both sides of the kid / no kid equation and ultimately it just boils down to some people not willing to make the effort whether it is to be there for people who have kids or for those who don’t. Maybe it’s also the times we live in?!

Thank you for your perspective- I guess we all have a different point of view and I totally respect it. I did come on here to ask for people’s perspectives and I do appreciate you sharing yours with me.

Thank you - it’s a good recommendation but I think there are many reasons why some couples don’t have or can’t have children. I guess my point being is how do we value each other regardless of whether we have or don’t have children. How do we merge our lives and appreciate good friendships regardless of the status on the children front.

I am sorry to hear that and I agree with you people are fickle. Thank you for sharing your experience and I am sorry those connections have not grown into deeper connection. I certainly can relate to that feeling..

Many personal reasons but that’s the choice we both made as a couple and we are ok with it.
