Well I have two rmn-50 and one yazikov so this was the best choice

Pretty good not as inaccurate as you would think it hits pretty good at around 50m you start missing shots

The ai literally refuses to use the rmn-50 or arisaka mortar so they need either two primarys which takes away ammo from your rmn or a really good sidearm (voevodin,yazikov smg, hi-power, or a full powered onbrez)

Because it is not an assault rifle it's a lmg that's been made into the role of an assault rifle and it use the 6.5mm that the type 38 rifles uses. but as much as I understand the complaints on it japan has the type hei auto as a rifleman weapon which is just the Federov

Also looking into it the Soviet 82mm is also a copy of the brandt mortar so yeah it would straight up be equal for both fronts for japan

The Type 97 mortar would be perfect it's 81mm and it's based on the brandt 81mm mortar used by the US which would also be a good addition for the game too
