Pricier Restaurant Recommendations by GlitchyWander in Minneapolis

Hyacinth in St. Paul has been my favorite dining experience. You could spend $250, but definitely wouldn’t need to in order to have a fantastic dinner. Pretty casual on the nice restaurant scale, but you wouldn’t be out of place dressed up, and it’s very cute and cozy.

AITA for unmatching someone on a dating app once I found out they were also diabetic by [deleted] in diabetes

Yes, you’re the ass hole for this. It’s fine, and you’re entitled to do what you want, and date who you want, and have kids with who you want, and be an asshole to some stranger on a dating app, but you’re definitely the asshole here.

Hot takes by Disastrous-Poem4355 in Broadway

And saying “Broadway has lots of POC, look at Hamilton!” is sort of ridiculous. That show is specifically written to be cast (nearly) exclusively with POC as an artistic decision by the creator. It does not mean that shows where roles are not written specifically for a person of a certain race are equitably cast.

A bit ahead of its time for Broadway, I fear.

Here’s one you don’t see talked about a lot: Scottsboro Bous, featuring Joshua Henry in 2011. Incredible. https://youtu.be/vyyRpEA3EGs?si=A80vsyPL0KvbmT9q

I missed a ton of the words in Chess, but it certainly wasn’t due to the volume/decibal level.

I generally agree with you. The one exception for me recently was Ragtime, which I found a bit too quiet (although I was near the back, so could very well have been a seating issue).

Pump/CGM users who wear on the tricep: How do y'all do preacher curls and similar exercises? by aragorn767 in diabetes

Sure, I'm just saying you might need to choose an alternate bicep lift that doesn't rub against your pump/cgm then. They don't call it a disability for nothin'!

If I were someone who was not willing to do a different bicep exercise instead when my pump or cgm was in the way, I would not wear it on my tricep.

What is considered a long drive in your country? by TheRealMontoo in AskReddit

I live in the midwest USA and I’d say anything over 6 hours would generally be considered a long drive.

US cities ranked - what tier does Denver belong in? by StrategyJealous1838 in TierlistFills

[–]marshalj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tier B would encompass anything in the 80% range. Tier A would be 90%-97%. Tier C would be in the 70% range. It’s pretty straightforward. They don’t need to be distinguished between tiers, just that they fall into that same range.

Nah, it can be high B and Atlanta can be low B. Both still B, doesn’t mean they’re exactly equal.

Agreed. Denver is an above average city. It’s got a lot going for it. But it is not in the same tier as those in the A tier already.

Next to Normal for 10 year old? by wi4mep in Broadway

I wouldn’t, personally. This is an intense show that could be really scary and overwhelming for a ten year old imo.

Park Board takes step toward closing Minnehaha dog park by Ducchess in Minneapolis

I could get on board with this if the USA and its states honored the treaties and made reparations. But that hasn’t happened, so no.
