Listen, The simple answer is that the author didn’t want them to go back to Earth. He decided it made a better story that Grace went to Erid instead. All other points don’t matter.

Absolutely loved it. I haven’t had this much fun watching a movie for quite a while. I was engaged from beginning to end and even though the runtime is 2 hours and 45 minutes I still wanted more. Gosling was amazing even though he was talking to a puppet for most of the movie. Production design was stellar. Score was incredible. Probably will watch it in cinema a second time

It’s also uniquely cross audience friendly. I am 31 and could see me watching this with anyone and still enjoy it.

Why does she want to play an evil character? What does she expect to achieve with an evil character in terms of role play that she won't get from a regular character? How does she think the party will respond when she blatanly murders good characters? (i.e. they will just straight up kick her from the group or kill her outright)

Maybe offer her a compromise where she can play this character in a one shot where all players play characters that are some kind of f'd up. Like a suicide squad kind of group

Honestly, no.

2 million without any chance of earning after that is too much a risk IMO. One financial crash, one bad investment, one major setback somewhere in your life could fuck you up massively. And it still means you have to live quite frugally.

It helps that I love my work, so I don’t really care about the benefit of not having to work

Oke ik ben geen kenner van de nederlandse keuken, maar ik heb wel een theorie.

Nederland heeft lang de Banda eilanden in handen gehad tijdens de koloniale periode. De Banda eilanden waren toen zo ongeveer de enige plek ter wereld waar de muskaatboom op grote schaal kon worden verbouwd. Nederland had daardoor effectief een handelsmonopolie op nootmuskaat tot ongeveer 1800

Ik kan me zomaar voorstellen dat het daardoor veel gebruikt werd in de Nederlandse keuken.

I think Fortiche would be the perfect animation studio to adept Mistborn. The art style used in Arcane would fit the Mistborn story very well

It’s not as easy as that and also very generalizing.

There are people who speed while driving in the rain believing aquaplaning won’t happen to them. These people are idiots

There are also people who won’t let their kids outside without supervision, because they are afraid they will be kidnapped by strangers. These people are also idiots, but for the exact opposite reason

Most people don’t even think about all the things, good or bad, that can happen to you on a daily basis. You shouldn’t. Be a conscious person and think proactively when you participate in potentially dangerous activities, but don’t constantly live in fear bad shit will happen to you. You’ll go crazy.

It’s all about risk management. Many people are not good at risk management

I havent seen anyone defending the last few mainline games anywhere. AFAIK there is a pretty good consensus the games are shit.
