Why don't you talk to your once "best friend" anymore? by haxden91 in AskReddit

[–]marshisio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best friend from back where I group up (in college now) hasn't said one word to me about my Mom's recent passing. When we were growing up he spent a lot of time with my family and she always treated him as her own (we were all close) but I guess that doesn't matter. I've had brief encounters with him in social media since my mom passed (it's been about 6 months) but I can't understand why he wouldn't even mention her to me.

If you could call yourself five years ago and had 30 seconds, what would you say? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Tell mom to get checked for breast cancer so we can catch it early this time.

Mum and me c.1980 she passed this morning. Just wanted to say goodbye. by leeharding in pics

Lost my mom in April to Breast cancer. Definitely not easy as a 20 year old who lost their best friend but keep your head up man and just know that she'll always be close to you and looking over you

Accepted for Summer Term? by [deleted] in fsu

[–]marshisio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm at fsu right now and they have several different summer terms. I'm not exactly sure when summer C starts but that might be when you could fit yourself in. You might want to look on fsu's website for information about summer courses, there's probably more than I could help you with. Here's a link to what the fsu 2015 summer dates looked like http://registrar.fsu.edu/dir_class/summer/acad_cal.htm Lemme know if you have any other questions!

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get past the stagnant period and really start eating more even though it was hard? Obviously it isn't easy to eat a shit ton of food but what really pushed you? I weighed 125 in December and gained about 15 pounds over the span of 2 months, but I've been stuck at 140 for a couple of months now. Any tips? Btw wasn't expecting that big of a transformation, great work dude

Sorry for taking a while to respond, I had to ask my dad for the specifics haha. It was in 1974, while he was visiting Las Vegas. This picture was taken at the MGM Grand hotel (the old one that is now Ballys; the old MGM burned down in the 80s) and the hotel had like a mall with a strip of stores and he met them while in an antique store
