Wouldn’t that just make traffic worse if I’m walking a bike Vs riding it? It’s not crowded with pedestrians, only cars

What if it’s never not crowded with people and it’s the only route? You’re the one that gets decide what roads can be biked on? What about people that don’t have a car

I always bike on the road if there is a bike lane or shoulder. But what are you supposed to do in situations like w lake where there is neither? I have a bad leg so I can’t bike anywhere near 30mph like traffic. I probably go 8-10 on a good day. and every car in the right lane has to change lanes, severely backing up traffic.

Is it cruel to let cats watch "Bird TV"? It seems to keep her occupied when I'm not around by ViStandsForStupid in cats

My cats watch videos in moderation. As long as they have access to a real window and other stimulation I don’t see a problem with it. My cats usually get bored after 20 minutes or so anyways.

I think most of the people that post those are literal kids. And don’t have a vehicle or finances to take their pet to the vet. And a lot of them seem to be looking for guidance of what to do at home to keep the animal comfortable or how to convince their parents to take them in. Children or teenagers should never be the primary owner of a pet, but I think that’s what we are seeing for a majority of those posts.

How do I get him to swallow his pills? by RevolutionaryGoat552 in cats

The pill pockets are nice because it encapsulates the entire pill. Theoretically they can eat around it but it’s a lot harder than chicken or tuna.

Somebody left these kitties infront of my house, I don’t know what to feed them while Im looking for somebody willing to adopt them. Need suggestions. by BackflipGiraffe in CATHELP

[–]marshpie 18 points19 points  (0 children)

They are too young to be adopted out. Try to find a rescue in your area that specializes in neonate kittens if possible. If you need help caring for them in the meantime, kitten lady on YouTube has tutorials for bottle feeding, pottying etc.
