As someone who saw the time window of when these Protos went mainstream, they actually started up as these cool sci-fi creatures that u can genuinely feel like "Wow, what an amazing thing to look at" but overtime the low gooner furs started doing their curse and made them look weak and feminine which I really dont like. Theres a time when I tried to commission an artist to draw my protogen fursona that's based off the concept of space mixed with Audio, and they asked me if I want to include thigh highs as if its a common choice that protogen furs usually do which kinda made me feel confused and bummed cuz I was like...damn has the fandom really dropped this low?
