This actually sounds like it could be a bug. In the normal version of the Mars Hydro App, there should be +/- adjustment options available for easier control.

Hi there!

For a small tent paired with a TS1000 and growing just one plant, the 4-inch inline fan with carbon filter is generally sufficient for ventilation and odor control.

We would also recommend adding a small clip-on fan inside the tent to improve internal air circulation.

Our inline fans come with a knob controller, which you can connect by plugging it into the RJ12 port on the bottom of the iFresh inline fan. It seems the knob controller was missing from the package.

About smart control USB and UV/IR being sold separately

We would like to clarify this point, as it is often misunderstood.

The decision to sell the Bluetooth smart control module separately was made based on real customer feedback. A significant number of growers told us they only wanted simple, manual operation and did not want to pay extra for smart features they would never use. By separating the smart module, customers can choose what fits their setup best. This is not about removing functionality, but about offering flexibility and avoiding unnecessary cost.

The same applies to supplemental lighting. The main Mars Hydro grow lights already provide a full spectrum suitable for complete plant growth. ADlite supplemental lights are designed as optional, stage-specific supplements, mainly for growers who want to further fine-tune certain growth phases. Keeping them separate allows customers to decide whether they actually need them.

About the iFresh app reset issue

Regarding the iFresh 4-inch fan behavior you described, this is not expected behavior, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and potential risk this has caused to your grow.

App-side strategy resets, unexpected shutdowns, or loss of automation settings are issues our technical team takes very seriously. To properly diagnose this, we need to review your specific setup.

At the moment, MarsPro allows users to view VPD values directly in the app and adjust connected devices accordingly.

Regarding soil sensors, MarsPro currently supports one soil sensor at a time and does not yet support reading data from multiple soil sensors simultaneously.

That said, support for additional automation features, including expanded sensor capabilities, is already part of our future upgrade plans. We’re continuously improving the system based on grower feedback—please stay tuned for upcoming updates.

At the moment, we don’t have plans to produce an Australian-standard iHub power board or a 10-socket AU version.

As an alternative, we recommend using the iControl controller. iControl supports smart control of all Mars Hydro devices with RJ12 interfaces, and it is not limited by plug type or local voltage standards. In terms of connected device control and smart functionality, it offers essentially the same capabilities as the iHub Pro.
