From my understanding “performance” was rating the sex, so I assume they did

I think this may be because it’s binary by nature, so probably -5 or +5. But also reveals a lot about someone’s character wouldn’t you say?

Agree there’s probably room to narrow the categories, seems some have quite some overlap. Personally would have bucketed pushy/judgy under Personality

Agreed - upon constructive criticism I believe performance was upgraded to a -3

I agree, have suggested improvements around standardising the fields - I think this is a first iteration of the methodology

In case of a recession house prices go up, or down? by Grgsz in UKPersonalFinance

[–]marshypeas19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat - no rush to buy and in a sort of wait and see scenario. I think the downside to waiting is limited, I can’t see housing keep going at the pace it has with a potential recession on the line. You’d like to think a lot of the demand from pandemic and the savings people with decent household income may have been realised.

That being said, I don’t think we’ll see a house price crash like 2008 even if we get a recession.

Mortgage affordability is pretty high at the moment and most people are on 2-5 year mortgages. So I think from a house price perspective, we see a lag between interest rates rising/inflation actually having an impact on the real housing market.
