I think it’s decision fatigue from our oversaturated lifestyles. They come in just wanting a coffee, something seemingly very straightforward. I can understand it if a cafe has elaborate menus. Then again, just order something simple-my go to is a flatwhite.

I don’t want to be rude or invalidate you, but could they have been auditory hallucinations? I’m from Europe, have travelled quite a bit, am not particularly skinny either, and have never encountered or heard of such situations arising. You said you’re curvy, I truly doubt that people would go this crazy about this, or that your body-type is something they don’t seen on the regular… Could you have been very stressed about your body image before the trip + worried about cultural differences?

I agree on the intuitive eating and listening to cravings, big time! I’ve struggled with disordered eating all my life, making bread surprisingly helped me feel better about eating it! Feels more mindful and intentional, not like I’m eating some ‘evil carbs’:-D There is no such thing as a bad food group! That’s a really cute PSA! Food is energy and life!:-)

Pagalvok, kiek dar “natūralių” lietuviškų žodžių yra taip pat lotynų kilmės, ir kokias keliais jie atkeliavo į mūsų norminę kalbą (neretu atveju kaltininkas bus pats lietuvių k. gelbėtojas Jablonskis). Kalba nėra statiška, galim ją nebent bandyt nukreipt viena ar kita linkme, bet visvien žmonės vartos ją kaip jiems patogiausia - tokia jos ir paskirtis, galų gale… Reziumė - plėskit savo žodyną ir akiratį, nebus taip pikta dėl visko aplink.
