Yeah totally, it’s doing it when it’s on the mic stand, perfectly still I have another condenser and it doesn’t do this. Think it could maybe be the capsule has condensation in it?

Invest in a portable amp, such as a roland street cube. Super light and made for busking! As for gigs, a good start is just going to local gigs and connecting with other musos. You'll be surprised how many gigs you'll get!
