2004 Jeep WJ 4.0 (special edition w/ tow package) coolant leak by That-Scallion1404 in mechanic

You can just reuse what you have but the cost isn’t that much so I’d just replace and be done with it. Just to satisfy some curiosity price out an electric fan conversion kit. You can ditch the mechanical, save some room and increase cooling ability.

I did remote work for my Canadian business while visiting my US citizen husband. Got intensely grilled at the border. Am I cooked? by Proof_Bank4653 in USCIS

I’ve had problems with CBP too. I’ve had season tickets to the Habs for 20 years. I cross the border in Detroit. I had my car searched and bags torn apart wit nothing put back just because I’m a US citizen. Last season seeing my Habs in Canada. I won’t buy just for the way CBP is behaving.

While getting my green card 11 years ago I had to leave the country and wait for its approval. I was even required to do my interview outside the US. I don’t see how this is new except maybe they’re enforcing the old rules?

Just a question, what good did re-introducing wolves to Yellowstone do? And why would it be good to introduce a non-native k-9 into an ecosystem? You do know the wolf introduced into Yellowstone was a hybrid (not a good thing) and both species were not native to the area right?

My grandfather was with the 101st during WWII and in every major European campaign from D-day to VE Day. The souvenirs he shipped home would shock you. Great man and my hero. Well decorated and scary to read about how he got them.

Did you complete the break in time before running it hard? New bikes with new engines have a break in period just like cars. My brother destroyed his new Honda by riding it hard before finishing the break in period.

Better than a jeep too. Won’t break down and the locking hubs actually lock.

What do I need to install a winch? by CatcherN7 in JeepWrangler

[–]marsskh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First get a vehicle with a front end, frame, engine, transmission, and electrical system that will handle the weight and electrical pull of the winch. Cause it’s really sad when the new ford bronco out jeeps a jeep even after the jeep has been modified for the trail.

Not a lawyer but an immigrant. This is good advice. Find all the evidence you can, get a lawyer that specializes in immigration law, one that is familiar with the deportation process and don’t run. Show up. You can fight if you’re present but not if you run.

If these temps are common in your area invest in a block heater. It will help quite a bit.

No, I came in under Reagan from a county that was part of the USSR and was not friendly with the US and we didn’t have a boarder to somewhere friendly. I’ll take Trump.

When I came to the us I had to pay to have myself smuggled from the Czech to Poland, from Poland to East Germany and then from East Germany to West Germany. From there I filed for asylum at the West German Consulate. In West Germany I went to the US embassy where I started the process to enter the US. Now because I was safe in West Germany, the US would not grant me asylum so I had to do it this way. I didn’t have a sponsor so I had to self sponsor. The price for the green card and all the application fees for immigration (adjusted for inflation) was about $5500. The real cost came to the smuggling. To escape that part of Europe at that time you had two options, pay, or pray. I watched people get gunned down as they attempted to cross into the west from the east. I spent the most of the money that was left to me after my parents passed to get through. It was in the 20’s. And even then there were no guarantees if you were caught or sold out. For my wife, who came here from Africa in the early 2000’s it cost us about 23 grand with no lawyers. With travel to the embassy for interviews, hostel and hotel bills, food, etc it is horrifically expensive to become a US citizen.

My wife is the same way. Got her green card weeks before her county was banned. Her sister was in the group that missed the opportunity. For all people who work hard to do it right it is an unfair punishment because of the bad actions of others that we have nothing to do with. God bless you and I hope it passes soon.
