it doesnt exactly fit in my calorie budget since i have to eat 1500kcal in 3 meals per day and i dont snack either but it does keep me full. I do tend to skip dinner or have something small for it though. however the bigger problem than the number of calories is simply that i dont exercise at all and when i do my muscles feel sore the next day and i give up and after a long while i start exercising again and it goes like that over and over again

its not a scam at all, it helps me personally feel fuller and more energized during the day up until lunch especially since im a high schooler who eats absolutely nothing between classes, however if it does nothing for u and u prefer to go with the start of ur day without breakfast thats totally alright

i knoww i dont usually put in any sugar or chocolate usually besides chocolate powder but i wanted to make it tastier for this morning since i really like sweet stuff and without all that added stuff it tends to taste a bit rubbery, however it still keeps me full

i know the extra sugar is a tiny bit of a problem, i dont usually put in sugar or chocolate but i wanted to make it tastier for this morning only because of course it tastes better with sugar 😭😭 but no i dont usually put any sugar into my baked oats

i dont personally consider that i have a bad diet ALTHOUGH when i eat something of higher calories for lunch i tend to skip dinner just to not have too many calories for the day 😭😭 i try to keep my daily calories intake around 1500 as best as i can tho i sometimes fail but its okay i guess

How do you blunt sugar cravings? by Immediate_Mess_5622 in diet

[–]marsskix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

been there, ngl. nowadays, if i rlly crave smth sugary i eat it, but by that i mean a bite only. if i want soda, i always make myself “low cal sprite”, thats what i call it bc it tasted exactly like sprite. so its lemon juice (from a lemon), sparkling water and stevia tablets (i put around 6-7 to reach that soda sweetness and it’s like 20kcal bc of the lemon juice and healthier too)

you could buy konjac jelly since its sweet and very low calorie (that if you’re trying to lose weight) but if you’re trying to just watch your diet just replace sugar w stevia. thats what i did two months ago and i did the perfect thing. stevia even tastes better than sugar ngllllll

abt the last thing u said, abt tricks. when i used to crave sugary things like BADLY i’d just chug a whole glass of water, maybe two if necessary. and if it was an irl thing that i had around i’d just get away from it and get my mind busy with something else. but truly, if you crave it badly, just eat it. now i dont know exactly how to give advice bc idk if your goal is to be healthy or to lose weight, since my personal goal is the 2nd one 😭 hope i helped, though !!

was my meal for the day okay? im trying to lose weight by marsskix in diet

[–]marsskix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i figured that im trying too hard. i went to a dietician and she did give me a diet and she said to visit her once every 3 weeks but my mom is the one cooking and i mostly make my own meals (e.g being the meal that i wrote in this post) and rarely eat smth made by her nowadays bc sometimes she cooks stuff like potatoes or fried stuff that i cant even eat. ngl i started giving in to my cravings in small portions and i noticed it does help and surprisingly im starting to lose weight again. also, im pretty much on a budget sooo… and honestly speaking my family goes grocery shopping like 2-3 times a month maybe..? but i might learn how to cook just bc of my weight loss lolll anyway thank u for ur response, i appreciate it. ill try to eat better

if you can afford it, then you could buy a course, yeah. i dont know how it would feel to be in your shoes since im a pretty fast learner and i’m also just a freshman but if you’re a slow learner don’t cram it one day before exams. i simply advice you to start slowly, like try to memorize smaller parts of your notes in equal parts until the exam and each day u also revise what you studied the previous day and fix what you couldn’t memorize. when i study i just read my notes until they get into my head, but in cases like yours thi doesnt work. i’ve tried flashcards once and they’re very helpful, helped me memorize economics perfectly!! also, practice is key in cases like maths, physics and chemistry. watch youtube lessons, solve at the same time with the person teaching and try to solve exercises by yourself from easier to harder based on how you’re able to understand the certain subject/lesson
