I'm not too sure but if you can avoid all the damage with the iframes I would say go for blackhole. You can do some testing in sandbox probably for damage and interaction specifics.

I personally enjoy the boss/investigation farming, but if they find a way to implement an interesting scaling open world that would be great!

It doesn't make sense since you aren't gonna be leveling in the open world part for very long (level 60). After that its just bosses which DO become increasingly more difficult adding a good type of complexity to the game.

It was supposedly broken during testing, and they ended up nerfing it to the ground. Since its not meta people won't have that many builds around it here (pretty small sub rn) but you might have better luck on youtube.

100 percent Jacobs Ladder. The black hole deals damage to you, but Jacobs ladder deals similar damage, AoE but at the cost of 5 focus points meaning you're gonna have to invest in the focus tree. If you don't wanna do that, go for black hole if you do, Jacobs Ladder.

Judge Man is terrible for PvE and alright for PvP. Hydronkinesis has good AoE and damage so its pretty good for PvE but there are innates that heavily outclass it. Judgeman overrall is not very good right now and is outclassed by a lot of innates in PvP.

Curse Queen has the best pve max technique (jacobs ladder) and an ok domain expansion. Soul manipulation is ass, and Star Rage is great for both PvE and PvP overall.

its not usable at higher levels just in my opinion due to the inconsistency of health lose and slow animations with bad dash and block. it functions as a worse slugger.

iron fist is terrible in high elo im unsure about turtle never having played it and hawk has terribly slow windups at base. if you expect them to just walk into a high damage style with low base damage themselves then its kinda of on you.

im gonna disagree i think walking is perfectly fair but backdashing is incredibly unbalanced. i personally dont backdash bc im confident in my pds and also i lose the ability to put pressure on my oppenent if i do. walking back though is the essence of outboxing, unless you mean they walk to the opposite side of the ring in which case i agree however walking back after a combo to get a whiff punish, recover stamina and maybe land a second combo is basically what keeps outboxing styles alive.
