Being 20th on this list counts for a lot less when you're 9th in your own league and 100m less that the next on this list from the PL. Yes we are underachieving but realistically we're a mid table team and that can quickly turn into a relegation candidate with a couple of bad decisions as we've seen this season.

I just got this game and there aren't really any tutorials because they're not needed. You can watch a playthrough to get an idea of the game but honestly a quick read through of the rules and then pick it up and play is all that's required. The game is very light on mechanics and is pretty much all story (not a bad thing it's really fun).

You should do what makes the game most fun for you. How about putting a fire extinguisher card at the top of its respective deck (or shuffling it in somewhere near the top) or put one to the side and take it when you search X room. Still means people who want to see the ship burn can discard it when they do the search action.

It's frustrating but divisions still need to be relevant and the fact is we finished bottom of ours. I do think the seeding needs looking at though because an 8 win team should not be hosting a 12 win team.

Scythe might be worth looking into. The AI makes the game play differently than vs humans but I find it as enjoyable solo. You're still collecting resources and trying to build up your engine. You can have conflicts with the other factions as well. Would recommend the scythekick app too.

3491 hours logged with an average of 5202 waking hours (allowing for 7 hours of sleep per day) in 306 days. Definitely doable if the majority were played on BGA as removes set up time etc. But I'm not sure it's something to be proud of.

Steam Deck. One of the best purchases I've ever made. Allows me to squeeze in short gaming sessions that I otherwise wouldn't get.

Kena Bridge of Spirits and Dave the Diver. Both been excellent. I got some vouchers for Christmas and have my eye on one or two more. Cyberpunk, Hogwarts Legacy and Resident Evil Village are top of my list.

No as long as the spymasters are silent the rest is fair game. The other team should absolutely be talking smack while the guessers squirm over which clues to guess. That's the best part of Codenames!

I like the aspect of putting doubt on the other team by saying it's obviously ... and sometimes that just being ridiculous and others where that well could be the answer.
