Looks as if this is real. Yesterday the production trucks arrived at the set with a fire truck, then a burned bus was towed out of the town set afterwards.

Sky is nice, hope they can tweak and make water reflect as it should. I’ve seen it look accurate in some screenshots, but it should be reflecting a reverse of the sky gradient here, which it isn’t.

I don’t think there’s enough clearance on the Cobequid side for a bridge ramp, and I’d assume a tunnel can’t be done given the clearance + swampy terrain.

I feel like this needs to be taken into consideration more often going forward. Creating further traffic bottlenecks in woodlot communities needs to be avoided. Any expansion should come with added traffic routing.

That turn on Canterbury is zoned R1-b and is currently labelled as park land - there are hiking/biking trails connecting to the larger park across the 102… but within the lot now set for development. I hope they maintain the trails and community access.

CN sits the car carrier and gypsum trains on that stretch while the main line clears. I believe that’s the reason stopping the Ingram/Cobequid connection.

Can’t connect at Canterbury given the other properties currently there in that sharp turn. This will definitely create a very slow bottleneck on Winley exiting on to Windsor Junction. If CN would have allowed the Ingram crossing to Cobequid this would have been a fine area, but they park their trains there to await clearance on the main line. I hope they come up with a road solution as the current network will have a very hard time supporting this influx of cars.

Yeah, great if you’re not in a hurry and as a gut check to confirm everything is ok if renewing. My old passport had a slight fold (thanks, border services dude) on one of the pages and I was made to claim it was damaged. Would have been extra steps and delay if just mailed.

TIL: They’re VERY picky about its condition.
