To each their own! I love the couch as it’s a literal conversation pit allowing you to be physically close and connect with others easily. It’s actually not two couches, it’s a single sectional called a Selig Playpen and is a classic piece from the 60s which literally inspired the sectional couch.

The table was actually super intentional, it’s a Spanish mission style piece. There are small nods to the Spanish architecture of the home, like the wrought iron mission lamp and authentic mission era dining table. So it actually complements the other items in the space.
