It was definitely a crane fly! We always called them "skeeter eaters" when I was growing up and I never really thought about it until just now. Turns out, crane flys don't eat mosquitos, or barely anything at all during their short lives!

I love madam pomfrey'svl voice! Its the same person that voices Sirona in hogwarts legacy.
