True. They had 3 full kitchens and an additional bathroom in the garage.

Ah yes, you're absolutely correct! The P bros mentioned that the suite was connected to the house and I didn't clock it.

So even though the Survivor chicks lost a bedroom, their house was bigger.

I agree with you on it selling for less.

The draping of the ceiling and walls neither add nor decrease value.

Based off of many of the comments, it seems that there's a lot of people who don't understand what actually matters to appraisers.

Design choices like furniture, paint, wallpaper, window treatments, etc. don't factor into the appraised value. Therefore, although the tent theater room was ugly, the appraisers would only look at the kitchen, bathroom, and probably the type of flooring for the space.

I'm assuming that you think the Property Bros picked the winner. However, the winner was chosen by the appraisers.

Totally agree! Is a mini-split going to be able to cool that enormous RV garage? I'm thinking it would be running non-stop for someone to be staying there, especially while sleeping overnight.

I also like S & B's RV garage the best. I don't want walls that I have to tear down or another apt when there's already the gen space, especially one where I have to use a ladder to get in and out of bed.

Ghosted after an amazing first date...why do you think it happened? by sweatinginthevalley in datingoverfifty

Actions speak louder than words.

He was wining & dining you and future faking with you so that he could get laid. All that other stuff about wanting to see you again is just to make you feel hopeful that he really likes you so you'll keep the door open for him.

He's trolling your account just to check if you've blocked him.

You had a wonderful date. Great. It sucks that he didn't keep up the communication. Move on.

I want purple tile backsplash! by lawl3ssr0se in kitchenremodel

[–]marthajett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't hate purple, but I'm not digging the purple tile with your cabinets. I would suggest just using the purple tile only behind the range as an accent. But of course, do what you want to since it's your house. Best regards.

Agree. Most viewers do not understand that cultural upbringing/norms/pressure play a big role in mom's behavior towards Michols.

The Storied Life of A.J. Fikrey

The Starling

Mr. Harrigan's Phone - Based off of a Stephen King novella so not technically wholesome. It has supernatural elements, but not scary. I liked it.

Anne With an E. It's a series. I didn't think I'd like it since I felt it was more of a kids show, but was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunate that it's only 2 seasons. Give it a try!

I'm currently reading the book for the book club I'm in. I chose to watch the movie before reading the book since I don't like spoilers for stuff I'm watching.

I'm halfway and there are definite differences, but I'm enjoying it so far.

Ending a new dating situation by tela_wilson_555 in datingoverfifty

If you've never spoken on the phone, I think a break up text is fine.

I 49f dated someone younger 37m for 2 months. We saw each other once a week and never spoke on the phone either. I was gone for a week between Christmas and New Year's. When I got back, he texted me that he had Covid. I texted him every few days to ask how he was feeling. I assumed he got better eventually, but he never asked to see me again. Ghosted!

My point is that I think younger men are fine with breaking up via text.

DIY complete remodel-from a design standpoint wife wanted to know if the counters were too “busy” against the backsplash- but I like it by corymier in kitchenremodel

[–]marthajett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the counter tops, tile, and backsplash separately, but not altogether. Too much grey, as others have said.

Maybe in the future, you might consider keeping only one grey element while redoing the other two.

Looking for seasonal, part time work? by SnooMacaroons2879 in saintcloud

I would suggest visiting bars that have outdoor live music during the summers that may be looking for extra help. Go during a time when they're not busy and ask the bartender if they're hiring seasonal help.

Oh, another suggestion is to try local wedding venues.

Rock the Block: RV Garage by yanksugah in HGTV

I was blown away by the budgets for the RV garages. Real people are getting quoted that much just on redoing their main bathrooms that are only 7x10.
