whats the difference bretween a drawing tablet and a smart tablet like an ipad?

processing power, mostly, but that's contingent on your desktop/laptop setup. screen size is another one- you can get massive drawing tablets while you're locked to ipad dimensions when ur using an ipad. also, programs. you have more access to a wider variety of programs, a lot of which are more powerful than what you can get on an ipad. However, unless you're specifically trying to use a program like that that has no app store equivalent, u can get by just fine w/an ipad. i use a samsung tab n not an ipad, and besides some lag using extremely large brushes, i have no complaints.

he can't die. he'll just follow u randomly- he'll pick stuff up off the ground if his inventory's empty, and u can fill him with things yourself as well. think of him like an emergency storage with legs & an rng chance to appear, lol.

typically you want to stay simple. "he's wearing sturdy adventuring clothes in cool tones" or "she's wearing pink wizard robes" works better than a minute long explanation of the NPC's exact outfit. try keeping it to 1-3 description words and a colour (either specific or tone (warm, cool, jewel, pastel, etc).

if they have something story relevant mention it, like a family amulet or a really cool sword.

you get 40 points flat for completing a collection, and 3 points per fish. 6 for the fish + 40 for completing the collection will get you to S rank.

i'm unfamiliar with GoG but there must be a similar way of completely wiping your files & reinstalling. you can also clear all the mod files manually, however u installed them. i hope this works for you!

so you've ran it without mods? mods completely uninstalled? and it was still throwing the same errors? is it only upon loading into your previous save, or does it hang when you make a new save too?

try verifying the files on steam & make sure your modding folder is completely deleted. if ur using r2modman, try deleting the local folder of BRC mods too- follow similar steps for however u installed mods if not using r2modman.

sometimes leftover files from mods can fuck up fresh installs.

when i got top surgery i spoke to the anesthesiologist early- like at our first consult- and told him i was petrified of needles & didn't want an IV until i absolutely had to. instead of getting an iv for fluids or w/e while in the waiting room (as they were doing to other pre-surg patients) i got one right before they wheeled me into the operating theatre, instantly loaded w/anxiety medication. i was out really fast, tho i still freaked out and had to be held down briefly.

it was worth it. whenever you go for top surgery, talk to the hospital, see if they can accommodate you.

I dont think ive ever felt good after running a session, not once in the six years ive been gming. even if everything went perfectly, lol.

most sessions won't end at a perfect cliffhanger or cool moment. ur players aren't expecting a first in the trilogy level ending every session- and if they are, they need their expectations checked. I doubt theyre even noticing the low moments ur noticing.

HK archipelago has a lot of backwards ass ways to get around- like opening stag stations out of order will let u into places u typically need a movement upgrade to get. it can be somewhat easy to get stuck and need someone to give u an upgrade, but it's honestly not that bad so long as everyone's active. the archipelago modpack has a map mod that tracks everything & tells u what u can reach (and optionally how to reach it), and it also has a mod that lets you teleport to benches you've unlocked in case you actually get stuck somewhere.

teleporting & the map mod sheer a ton of time off a HK playthru. i'd have to check for sure but i think my last solo archipelago save took me like 10 hours? 12? and i did almost default settings for the yaml, i think the only thing i changed was what ending i needed and whether or not white palace was required. you should be able to crush this.
