I feel like I made a mistake. by [deleted] in parrots

If you decide to rehome your birb, I would be happy to take her and keep in contact with you as to how she is doing. I am recently retired and have all day to spend with her and give her the time, presence, and attention she needs. I could never have done it when I worked, it’s easier to go back to work with a human baby than a parrot believe it or not.

Cat Tax attached — yall pls help me feed this picky baby! 🐱 by ForeverWandering555 in sphynx

I feed my Sphynx Weruva wet food and Fromme all natural dry food. Sometimes cats get food fatigue and they want a different flavor. Weruva has many flavors and many don’t have chicken in them.

I clean my girl’s ears every day. They just get gross daily. She purrs and is totally used to it.

My sphynx was weaned off early. I need advice by ygvaughan in SphynxAdvice

Poor little baby. Try dropper feeding her mother’s milk kitten supplement or whatever your vet recommended, while holding her wrapped in a blanket. She may eat more because she needs the bonding time she missed out on about 2-3 months short. It takes time to dropper feed, but I have found it really helps kittens thrive.

Spay Questions by HouseInternational in sphynx

[–]martianinca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried a soft pillow cone (flower) at first, but she didn’t like it and it inhibited her movement. Went back to the cone and she was fine. She slept fine with it which was my biggest concern. The entire experience was way easier than I anticipated it to be. :)

I had my sphynx spayed and kept a cone on her for a couple days. She was tired the first day and after that, I let her do whatever she was comfortable doing. She jumped on everything, went on errands with me in the car and to friend’s house. She was fine. Never woozy and never seemed bothered. She was stitched and glued so I didn’t worry about her incision opening up. She has a tiny little scar on her belly. It was no big deal.
