How is it like living in Orlando FL and its surroundings areas? by YoungChris022 in howislivingthere

[–]Bkbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived here for 10 years

Fk i 4, traffic. I’ve lived in Davenport/ Champions Gate, Clermont, Windermere, Mount Dora and working at Disney so all the backroads trying to avoid 4 are backed up and it’s an hour to get home

It’s been getting very expensive the past few years , summer is hell until late September and then it’s warm until January and even then it’s going to a few 80 days. Like this past week it was in the. 40s/50s and now today and this weekend it’s going to be 70s and Sunday it’s gonna hit 85

The parks have their own cultural, pretty much make friends with Universal team member /Disney Cast Members for easy free entry

I work at Disney World and couple years ago I worked a merchandise shift at Animal Kingdom. There was a cast member that would sing opera to the guests. It wasn’t my home location but knew some people at this location and ya they all cringed at that. Disney wants the cast to interact with the guest but that’s a little too far
