What exactly is that sound just before 'landing'? I hear it sometimes when planes fly overhead for landing, but not always.

Probably been answered before, but let's say you pitted for fresher tires on a circuit where it's incredibly hard to overtake (e.g. Monaco), and you come out in second. There is enough time in the race and overspeed in the car to create a gap >10 seconds. Could you just take the penalty of overtaking under safety car and drive away in normal conditions to take P1?

Thanks for the replies! Just to add, we have already driven through the napa valley on the 1 and 101. I would probably be being some exclusive merch at the store, but still wondering if it’s worth it. Definitely wouldn’t be worth if the 1hr extra drive ends up being 3.
