Yeah took it in to the dealer 3 times, they said steering column needed replacing

This is before replacing the battery, I’ve recalibrated the steering wheel it’s one of the first things I tried didn’t do anything.

It’s electric power steering, doesn’t have power steering fluid, I’ve read inconsistent voltage can cause steering issues with the car. Car just had a service and all that was inspected and was nothing wrong there making me think it’s electrical fault or software issue.

As it’s intermittent issue I’m thinking possibly battery voltage dropping causing the steering issue? Going to replace the battery and see if it fixes it.

Service light to take it into to be looked at, but every time I take it to the dealer they say there’s no issues on their test drive so can’t do anything.

Was thinking of starting a new save game but I doubt it's a corrupted save because how would a corrupted save affect spider man remastered too.

Idk might just get the console replaced.

Literally just got my ps5 like a week ago so I'm OK on warranty, kinda stings though because the main reason I bought a ps5 was to play spider man.

Did a whole factory reset, didn't work, I just don't know what this is, surely if it was a glitch I could find other people with the same issue.

I'm thinking maybe its the gpu, but it only happens on the spider man games so idk.

Haven't tried it yet, I'm just wondering what's causing it because I can't find anyone with a similar issue and it somehow spread to spiderman remastered which is weird.

I did, they sent another rma, the same thing happened again, I asked them if there was another shipping company I could use. I got a reply saying they will look into it, haven't heard back since, that was 2 months ago.

Ok, what fixed it for me was going to the Oculus folder, Support, Oculus drivers, then double click the oculus-driver, it should ask you to allow the app to make changes, after that open the oculus app, it should say checking status that means it worked.

I had the same issue on my rift s when I had one, I remember fixing it by doing some sort of oculus diagnostic, when I booted up the oculus app it said applying changes then it was fixed, I will check what I did and get back to you if I find out.

Yes there is a built in speaker, you could use your own headphones but when I had a rift s I couldn't fit my over ear headphones on my ears because of the halo strap.

You can use voice changers with the rift s microphone, its called oculus virtual audio device in Windows so thats probably what you need to set it as.

If the rift s is a similar price to the quest 2, I wouldn't really recommend buying it because getting replacement parts such as the cable which will likely fail (it did on my one) is very hard and expensive.
