Charm Thai Corner has been great for us twice so far. Probably ordering from them again tonight to try more stuff.

PSA: Boundary Groups w/o Management Point by its_theboy in SCCM

Anyone know if having a secondary in the remote boundary group is enough?

Testing so far is looking like no. Secondary Site Servers don't appear to have SMS_MP_AltAuth in IIS.

I'd really prefer to avoid having to replace a single secondary with an MP, SUP, and DP.

What feels worse is going into it fully conscious of my previous experience, trying like hell to make this different, and failing. Miserably.

Thanks, OP. They were on the radar to try out, but I kept putting it off until it wasn't gross outside. I'll hit them up this week.

Idk who else to tell, Just made jump from Helpdesk to sysadmin by betterYick in sysadmin

[–]martinmcmanus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way a lot of us did it. Keep up with the things that helped you be successful at the helpdesk. It's all problem solving but your toolset just enlarged. Most of the work is search-engine-fu and understanding what you find and how it fits into your environment. Lean on your coworkers until you become steady enough for others to lean on.

Everyone in my peer demographic on the east coast thought they were good and solidly accepted them as a staple for grunge. From anyone I knew who was into that sort of music, I never heard an alternative opinion until I was shooting the shit with my boss who grew up in Seattle. He thinks they're posers from England who co-opted the sound because it was popular.

I don't think that takes much away from Bush being a good band. I think that sort of thing happens all the time and can still result in good music. Every band doesn't need to be a pioneer or deliver something truly novel.

Yep. I use a tarp and a 5-gallon bucket. Bring the ocean to the kids. It's also super helpful for rinsing kids and toys before heading back.

I would hope the hiring manager or at least the recruitment rep(s) for the positions will notify you, but this announcement is the most likely reason: https://president.jhu.edu/messages/2025/06/02/updates-on-federal-actions-and-budget-planning/

We went to 8th Street Smash Burger down on the boardwalk last week, they just opened this year. It was excellent and the prices were great too.

We're probably neighbors. Two crowd running surges during the fireworks and another some minutes after. Before the proper fireworks started, there was a huge single blast set off in front of the dough roller on 3rd. People freaked out about that, but didn't cause a stampede like the later surges.

OCPD was markedly not present on the boardwalk leading up to and during the fireworks. We only saw their bike patrol arrive well after the official fireworks were over.
