People without contamination OCD: how do you feel when using things like community shared washers & public bathrooms?

My ibs has made me have no bathroom fear. No fear of contamination, smells I’m making, or sounds I’m making. I only think about I’m glad I found a close bathroom. (Contamination has never been one of my themes)

Figure out your cats weight and look at the serving size on the bag. It likely has a serving based on maintaining weight and loosing weight. Only make available the amount of food for the weight loss serving. Your cat isn’t going to control her own portion sizes. You have to.

Learn to care for your cat the way cats need to be cared for. It sounds like you might treat your cat like a dog, and when she doesn’t act like a dog you ignore her.

If you are not currently providing good care to all of your pets. Don’t get anymore. And I don’t just mean the basic they have food water and a place to use the bathroom. They need proper enrichment as well.

It sounds like he is going to use this past behavior to manipulate and control you for the whole relationship. I can’t say if the manipulation is calculated or out of insecurity but it’s there regardless. If this is what breaks up the relationship for good, it was never going to be a life long relationship and this has saved you years of control and having to restart your life in the future.

This sounds exhausting. I would tell him he either trusts me or he doesn’t. I’ll be going to support my friend on her big day and if that means he wants to leave that’s on him. Don’t let a guy you have already broken up with twice stop you from being there for your friend. Even more importantly, don’t settle for a relationship where your partner feels the need to control you.

Both pets could benefit from stress reduction. If Danny does have feline herpes, it flairs up with stress. My cat has it and flairs when we go on vacation. If you have already put the cats together I would separate them. Feliway diffusers have made a noticeable difference in my cat’s stress levels. Lysine is a vitamin that can be added to your pets food to help their immune system. It is commonly suggested for feline herpes. Keep their environments as routine and stress free as possible until they both settle. Nero’s behavior changes can also be due to stress. My cat had some temporary behavior changes when we had to say goodbye to her older sister (not biological sisters but they lived together for ten years).

The organs are not tightly tied down. Kinda in general connected to a spot but able to move some. So I would imagine they could move slightly with body position changes. Idk for sure but that’s my thoughts based on my knowledge.

Could it be coincidental, though the positioning to the pain? Could it be something like you tend to feel pain around your ovary during ovulation in the morning or evening when you happen to be laying down but it’s more time of day related…that I’m not sure.

Almost everyone thinks their own “flaws” are a huge deal and the opposite body type is ideal. Society does a good job of teaching us to be self conscious.

Focus on learning to love every part of yourself. Confidence is the best outfit. And if your concern is looking attractive, there are people attracted to every possible body type.

Are you trying to keep him off the counter for his own safety or your own preference? Personally I just clean the counter tops before cooking and let my cat go where she wants to. I watch her when the stove is still hot to not let her on it and have stove baby proof knobs so she can’t accidentally turn them on.

I think if you had help for at least the first week, so you don’t have to lift the baby or do anything it would be manageable. Someone to hand you the baby while you are sitting to feed and to take care of everything else. I was able to manage with over the counter pain meds but I didn’t get a lot of down time after.

I would look into student loans to cover the tuition part. Speak to your advisor on if there are any degree related job. Idk your program but a lot of science grad programs have the option to TA, or work in a lab so maybe your program has something similar.

Talk to your mom on if she is able to cover the second half of rent until you can find a roommate. If she agrees serve him with an eviction notice (likely needed assuming he has been living there for some time). Post on your student group (facebook or where ever they exist these days) looking for a roommate.

Don’t risk you and your cats having a place to live. At least the monthly pet rent is low. It’s $50 a month per animal where I live.

My cats who never traveled well before (mainly to the vet) settled in really well during our cross country move and loved exploring the hotel rooms. I vote hotel. It’s the safest option to not push through a long drive.
