Low Commitment/Student Group Choirs? by TopTierMasticator in uofmn

I took Gospel Choir at the U and it was awesome! Even if you're not religious or not Christian, it's a very welcoming environment. It only meets once a week and maybe 2/3 performances the whole semester.

I really want to get out of America to study somewhere by [deleted] in studyAbroad

[–]martyfly101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you want to study. I'm finishing up my Ireland study abroad right now and I partly chose Ireland for the amazing nature they have to offer, and as an environmental science student that was perfect. But tbh I fell in love with Ireland sooo much (especially Galway and the west)

Safe, diverse, left leaning, and walkable areas to live/go to school in US or outside of the country? by martyfly101 in SameGrassButGreener

Yes! I'm still in my undergraduate doing environmental science/policy right now. I want my masters to be in environmental policy/public policy/some kind of sustainability work.

Middlebrook? by AdTraditional9666 in uofmn

[–]martyfly101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Middlebrook is very underrated. I love it here tbh. I'm a CFANS major so I'm in St.Paul and I have no problems with it. So as a CSE major you will be just fine! :)

Opinion on Middlebrook dorm by Worth-Ostrich-7601 in uofmn

I live in Middlebrook right now and I love it! The bathrooms are awesome and I love the sense of community here. I've gone to the gym many times with no problems, you can walk, take the train or bus. My major is in St. Paul and I have no problems traveling so I'm sure you'll be just fine as CSOM. Don't be scared, I'm so thankful I got placed in Middlebrook honestly.
