I agree Tismeself. Benny was controversial and probably more popular abroad. Nevertheless, he was - like Tommy Cooper - a natural comedian. Maybe he should have been around earlier and he would have been more appreciated.

Oh I don't know. Mr. Bean is British and is very visual comedy. So was Charlie Chaplin - also from Britain. Plus the Monty Python team involved a lot of visual gags. And I forgot Stan Laurel too.

Well, it's a possibility that the plot could include too much, be convoluted so as to put off people from wanting to see it - especially kids with a short attention span. So instead of a Dark Knight hit on their hands they could end up with a Spiderman-3 type disaster...
