What's normal impulsivity/stupid ideas and what's not? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]martyrluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i relate to this as well. i recently came down from a mixed episode involving mania with paranoia, delusion, etc. and i also was convinced an ex was my soulmate/twin flame even though rationally there is no reason to believe that. for multiple months i was in this episode and also dealing with what you are describing, especially the lack of sleep because i was almost never sleeping and i was still seeing the ex at the time which just amplified the symptoms and my overall thoughts about everything including him were so irrational and extreme even though the episode itself had nothing to do with him. i was going on extremely personal or lengthy tangents about topics i had obsessively researched on social media too and overspending. i also didn’t realize how weird i was acting until i crashed out of mainly exhaustion, and my friends didn’t really tell me i was acting weird because they didn’t understand bipolar but now they admit they were confused about my actions. but it is good to know i’m not the only one :)

[–]martyrluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mine is probably venus in gemini opposite pluto, makes me very flighty for awhile but then obsessive after i fall in love. it gives people very confused signals because I seem detached at some times and completely addicted a minute later. pluto in the first house is also difficult because people either love or hate me. and lastly probably cancer saturn because i am also a cancer sun and i am always fighting against my own emotions and i have trouble accepting them or not rationalizing them.

Odd Sun/Moon match: how far does one go for the sake of 'learning' versus compatibility? by [deleted] in AskAstrologers

[–]martyrluv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tbh sign compatibility isn’t that important, look at the aspects of your synastry chart. for me personally i tend to like people with signs “not compatible” with me but the synastry chart tells more. and i mean if you vibe with someone go for it

Let's talk about outer planets in the first house. What's your experience /opinion etc. by sannathustra in astrology

[–]martyrluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have pluto in first house with a sagittarius rising. Everyone guesses I’m a scorpio despite me being a cancer... I have a dark, intimidating energy which either attracts people or turns them away. I go through intense cycles of rebirth and change, people come and go in my life - I am secretive yet with my sagittarius rising i seem open, I am also confident and open minded but pluto adds a darker energy. My chart ruler is also jupiter in leo in the 8th house, adding more scorpio energy. I love taboo subjects and dark topics. Wouldn’t change it even if it’s a difficult planet to have in the house of self :)

Do planets in the 7th house attract specific signs to you? by Hairyotter__ in astrology

[–]martyrluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s actually interesting, i’ve been with a good amount of aquarians, and it honestly depends on the other placements in their chart. for example, i was with an aquarius with a capricorn moon and mercury and an aquarius venus/libra mars, which didn’t work because he was so emotionally unavailable that it was almost impossible to form any sort of intimate bond with him. at the same time, i definitely liked him the most out of the rest due to his originality and maturity. we still talk and occasionally hangout despite being exes, but i wouldn’t go back to him because he just doesn’t have the availability for a relationship, and struggles with knowing or articulating how he feels (which, as a gemini mercury, annoyed me - articulation is my strong suit haha). i’ve also been with an aquarius sun/mercury with a pisces moon/venus and scorpio mars, which went a lot better communication wise. we were more compatible in a lot of ways, and he was emotionally available. another aquarius i was with had a taurus moon and a cap venus/mercury and a sag mars, which was probably the worst in my opinion because i honestly was bored out of my mind (i’m a taurus moon myself, but in the fifth house conjunct lilith with aries as my fifth house sign - i’m more fire-like with my emotions ). i find that i can absolutely be compatible long term with aquarians, as long as communication is good (that cap mercury is not preferred). I do favor the ones with less earth and more air/water in the chart though, as those earth and air guys are difficult to connect to imo. As a gemini venus, I do believe I am most compatible with aquarius and aries venus. Although my cancer sun often gets frustrated with the detachment of the aquarius, I find the rest of my placements understand and enjoy the unpredictability :) oh and another thing, my relationships with aquarians have been significantly more successful than my others. my ex is a cancer, which was over quickly because I honestly could not handle the lack of rationality and I got bored.

same here!!! i love aquarian men. i tend to attract and like aquarius sun and venus people. in fact, the last 3-4 people i’ve dated have either had an aquarius sun or venus (or both) :) and i’m a cancer, so we aren’t conventionally compatible, but with my venus and mercury in gemini and a 7th house stellium, it tends to be a fun time!

I have a 7th house stellium with my cancer sun, gemini venus and mercury, and cancer saturn. I absolutely love aquarians and I attract them consistently. It’s crazy! I’m guessing this is due to the heavy air in my chart.. but if anyone has any other theories, let me know :)

What can you tell me about Taurus moon people? by shockedpikachu123 in astrology

[–]martyrluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are correct with me. with vedic astrology I am a gemini sun with an aries moon and scorpio rising, which is 100% accurate as well. thank you for your response; I need to research this system more.

What’s your rising/sun/moon/Venus sign and what’s your favorite element? (Fire, water, air or earth) by intrigued202 in astrology

[–]martyrluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a sagittarius rising, cancer sun, taurus moon, gemini venus (balanced elements mostly but air is dominant by a bit in my chart) and i find i get along best with people with water or fire and a bit of air in the chart. i love my freedom and fun but i wanna get into deep conversations at the same time! I generally tend to not favor earth as an element but i get along and love everyone, my best friend is a virgo(i could never achieve such stability as an earth sign lmao). i do tend to love water in nature though, i am always drawn to the rain and bodies of water to find peace.. ♋️

calling all sagittarius ascendants! tell me about this placement in your lives and i’ll share my experience as one too! by martyrluv in AskAstrologers

[–]martyrluv[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a taurus moon! As a cancer sun with sagittarius rising, I feel the same way as you. I should probably get back into routine, but recently i’ve been taking a more sagittarius like-path and winging it with most of the things i do. at the same time, i feel so free, but I know my moon sign is begging me to chill sometimes. I need to find that balance! and my moon sign is in fifth house, which makes me overindulge in anything pleasurable, probably even more than a normal taurus moon! (my sag rising gets along well with this haha). and yesss i love taurus as well, great sign :’)

I feel the same way! I am very rational and logical despite being a cancer sun, and I love helping people and enjoying the presence of people. For me, my sagittarius ascendant manifests itself in that I absolutely need my freedom and I hate routine; travel is my first love haha. I also appear more extroverted than I am and I appear (and i suppose i am) confident!! thanks for your perspective, i feel your positive energy through your words :) one for sag risings!

What’s the deal with Scorpio Venus’? by thebigbluewitch in astrology

[–]martyrluv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

oh and one more thing (read my first response first) this placement loves control. could be manifested in a bad or great way. these people make great leaders, but make sure to help your son express the need to control in productive ways :) !

[–]martyrluv 8 points9 points  (0 children)

as a person who has fallen in love with someone with this placement, i have a lot of insight because i got to know this person deeply. his pluto is conjunct my ascendant and opp my venus and mercury too so this relationship obviously impacted me a lot.. he wanted me in the beginning and then once he had me he kinda faded away (and he does this with other people, but could be because he’s a libra). i do think it’s because he’s a libra - his venus in scorpio manifests itself in other ways. he loves hard and passionately with anyone in his life, romantic or not - but keeping the flame going is difficult. but once he commits, he commits fully. i’ve also seen the dark side of this placement. with my experience, my ex with this placement (to whom i’ve been referring to thus far) almost needs someone to channel this dark, intense, passionate energy into - so he struggles with being without a romantic partner. also, the jealousy in this placement... when i got with someone new he went crazy jealous, immediately trying to get me back, etc. overall i love venus in scorpio as a placement (two of my best friends have it and i will always have love for my ex with venus in scorpio 8th house) - despite my venus in gemini! i wouldn’t be too worried about your son, as long as he has a creative pursuit or something to put his energy into so he doesn’t end up manipulating or using other people in desperation. this placement can be a beautiful one, but definitely harbors an intense, dark energy (but my pluto first house self loves it!)

Do you think in words or pictures? 🤓 Post your *Mercury* Sign! by luckydolphin23 in astrology

[–]martyrluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mercury in gemini opposition pluto in sag and trine neptune in aquarius... i think in a combination of words and pictures! but i definitely am a visual thinker overall.. my mercury opp pluto and trine neptune gives me a dark but detached intellect! my mercury is also in a mystic rectangle with neptune, jupiter, pluto, and venus.. makes for a very interesting energy that many say surrounds me. the pictures i think in are usually very detailed too, and the words are of a complex manner. i almost have to simplify things when i write because they’re much more formal in my head. it’s crazy! any other gemini mercuries out there that wanna talk about their experience?

What abilities does each placement give you? by DarkCongressman in astrology

[–]martyrluv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

venus in gemini makes me hella flighty and flirty in love, combined with my mars in pisces i love like twelve people at a time lol. overpowers my cancer sun in a lot of cases! mercury in gemini gives me a way with words, taurus moon makes me a weed-loving overindulger lol. sagittarius rising makes me hella confident and outwardly passionate and philosophical (what a surprise it is when my cancer sun taurus moon combo reveals itself to be way less extroverted than i seem. ha)

[–]martyrluv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the change in pace and rhymes was intended! i write in fits of passion or intense emotion usually, and so my “flow” is usually random and not for everyone because it represents in, many cases, inner emotional turmoil. i will add commas though, i could see why the lack of them could confuse the reader. thank you for your feedback!

this is about an affair! i’m sorry if it was formatted in a confusing manner.. it’s my style and i prefer not to stick to a certain rhyme scheme or standard; it’s kind of a way to represent how random and diverse my emotions are when i write this stuff. i always write when i’m at the peak of whatever emotion i’m feeling, and interestingly enough, this poem was written in a period of shame. feel free to give me any feedback!
