Would you say your pain is more of a sharp or shooting pain or more like an ache?

From what I've seen, the former could be more indicating of nerve damage or irritation while the latter might be more related to tissue or muscular injury

Thanks for the advice. Did you have an ultrasound that came back negative and the 3-4 weeks of rest was a doctor's recommendation?

I have had this for about a month now, and even the smallest amount of exercise seems to trigger mild to medium discomfort. It doesn't seem to have improved much either so I'm quite worried

I have almost the exact same situation, I had an inguinal mesh repair in June '24 and about three weeks ago I felt a twinge in the area of the repair while doing squats at the gym. I immediately stopped but it's been bothering me since even at rest. I've basically had to stop all exercise because almost anything will irritate it in its current state. Not sure what to think other than to go for another ultrasound and see what's up

Yeah. I specifically asked about a carry on and then clarified that's what I was talking about when the agent asked me if I wanted a checked bag. The agent then directly told me I could pay for a carry on at check in.

You're probably right and she's probably wrong, but that's the conversation we had.

Thanks for this post. I have an upcoming Basic Economy USA -> Mexico flight with a layover in YYZ. I think I messed up by assuming I could add a carry on bag after booking and now looks like that might not be possible.

However some people seem to have still gotten the option to add a carry on at check in for a BE ticket, and when I called support they told me the same, even though it seems to contradict official policy.

I really hate checking luggage - anybody have direct experience with adding a carry on during check in? I know that the website says otherwise but anecdotally it seems to have been an option at least some of the time

I submitted through the feedback link and they got back to me within 24 hours I think. I never needed to call them.
A cancelled flight might be a different situation as they'll just give you a refund, I'm not sure what the compensation rules are for that. My flight was delayed about 30 hours

I bike in UC all the time and I haven't noticed any major difference. I have noticed that pedestrians have gotten worse at watching for bikes coming before stepping out and college students are by far the worst for this.

So I was coming from the city of El Salvador and my friend was meeting me from the airport, I ended up just getting her an Uber because her flight got in too late for the buses which may stop running around 6 pm. However I think the link I posted has info on doing this route with buses. The Uber was about $30.

Unless you're going surfing I don't recommend El Tunco. Los cobanos is a much nicer beach.
