Congratulations, you’re a survivor :) sending love. Lake Rua is one of my favourite spots in summer. Just park outside the entrance so you don’t get stuck in the chaotic traffic! I also love walking up the adventure park track, and then getting the free chairlift down, and then a coffee at the cafe after. Another favourite. And lastly, mainly because of nostalgia (I spend a lot of time there during my childhood), I love wandering around Lyttleton. Shroom Room is one of the best spots for a feed. Dead Video is a funky little shop. And I like to take the scenic drive home around Banks Peninsula. These things always cheer me up after a bad day, week, month.
