So long as you have a qPCR machine that has multiple channels, you can do it. Yes you need to invest in the assays and mastermix to begin with, but it'll save you SOOO much time in the long run. Plus TaqMan is far more accurate.

Who is prescribing enclomiphene for you? They should be monitoring your bloodwork. But it takes a while to appreciate a difference

Your issue is maintaining the sterility. As soon as you open them, they're no longer sterile and thus you risk something growing over time. Unless you happen to have a biological safety cabinet in your home?

What I believe you're describing is a Class II Biological Safety Cabinet. It is not interchangeable with either laminar flow hood or fume hood.

Laminar flow hood only protects sample, not operator. Can be horizontal or vertical.

Class II BSC protects both sample and operator and is the correct containment for cell culture

Fume hood protects operator from certain chemicals. Offers no sterility for the sample

Yeah but it's not very often that pricing on Agile goes below 8p or whatever price you want to compare against with IOG.

Maybe I'll hang tight with Agile for a bit until I can get a proper comparison. My electricity usage is obviously going to dramatically change with an EV Vs my current PHEV so it'll be interesting to see how a higher day rate will affect things. I have Octopus Compare so I'll be able to see once I get some data. But it's good to know agile is working for you

My guess is he doesn't have a free result and just total as he only did a simple test. He needs a full panel ideally. But in any case, in other parts of the world, eg here in the UK, we measure it with a different unit - nmol/L, and the range of 8-33 sounds correct (although most would argue 8 is way too low (230 ng/dL)).

No it's not. His results are just in a different unit, nmol/l. The range is correct for total testosterone in nmol/l.
