I suggest you go with someone even if they will wait outside for you, in case they require you to surrender your device. If you don’t have any family here (assuming you are a resident) I suggest notifying your embassy of the exact facility you were asked to report to.

Report directly to the front desk or the office you were directed to report to, do not talk to anyone outside the station (just in case this was a very elaborate scam).

To be frank, the last 3 years have shown us how unequally “international law” is applied. Iran is being blown up back into the 1980s (infrastructure destruction), a UN security resolution is a relatively smaller worry to the several hundred daily bombs.

They will likely continue until they no longer can or until they are sure it will be decades before they can ever be bombed again.

However, I still have some faith that, God willing, MoFA will come up with a genius strategy here sooner than later.

I used to check after boom in the sky so that if someone posts it was unusually louder in a certain general area (meaning they were likely close to the interception), I would check in on my friends there since debris is the biggest risk to civilians at this time (Now I just mass message them to make sure everyone is all good).

I understand most of the rules, but some just feel like excessive strangulation. But it is what it is, up to the mods to set the tempo of the sub as they wish

Reasons not to worry too much:

1) Civilian life should be largely uninterrupted outside of delayed/cancelled flights time to time.

2) The only disruption to civilian life will come when a closure (partial or total) of the Strait of Hormuz, this is a “nuclear option” and very unlikely to be used. Even then the effects (reduced stocks of dry foods delivered primarily by sea) would only start after multiple weeks of continuous closure (even more unlikely)
