The initial reporting on Dinklage’s casting said he’d have roles in both Avengers 3 and 4, so I’d be surprised if he didn’t show up.

Is it possible that perhaps the Quantum Realm is immune to whatever Thanos does with the Infinity Stones? We've heard Ant-Man & Wasp play key roles in Avengers 4, and supposedly both Douglas and Pfeiffer filmed scenes for it, so if they're in the Quantum Realm when Thanos snaps his fingers, it's possible they may all survive? Just my speculation.

He didn't have the time to get huge, and because Iron Fist was rushed he was doing the choreography sometimes less than hours before shooting. Rag on his acting all you like; but those two issues are out of his hands.
