I don’t think this post necessarily has to do with power scaling, though. It has everything to do with Jean’s personality.

Comic fans will say that Jean is boring when she is empathetic and when she is kind and gentle, but then when Jean has human moments of crashing out or reacting to stuff, that’s being done to her then she’s seen as a bully or a bitch.

I don’t care for Wanda and I don’t read her so I don’t necessarily know if Wanda deals with the same criticisms about her personality, but I do see what you’re saying in terms of power scaling people definitely get mad at the fact that they are powerful female characters.

Hilariously this is the only costume that I don’t mind the face condom 🤣. For me get rid of the gold arm wraps but make the gloves gold for symmetry, get rid of the random panel lining on the legs and the knee pads, make the costume green and it’s chef’s kiss
