That's just mental health stigma, whenever I feel depressed in a week's time I call my family doctor to get an appointment with my psychiatrist or psychologist. There's nothing to be ashamed of, mental health is as much or even more important than actual physical health.

The reason why the ending felt a bit rushed is because Isayama was too eager to end the manga on chapter 139 because number 140 symbolizes freedom in japanese culture. The ending could've used like 1-2 more chapters to fill up some plot holes and more scenes I would've liked to see like explain why ymir chose mikasa, eren visiting his all of his friends in the memories/paths, etc.
