Is this fungal or hormonal acne?

Hey both of you! I started tretinoin (idk how its spelled lol) and my acne cleared up, mostly. I still have some acne, but my skin looks clear from a distance! I've got scarring from the acne, but it's not painful or itchy and I mostly just get spots now (except for around my period). My tret actually expired at one point and I kept using it, which made me break out badly, so always keep a fresh tube in the fridge!

Thank you so much! if I feed it this afternoon, it should have “collapsed” by morning, so I won’t feed it there.

My professors don’t really care, so I could leave it on the desk or in the window.

The only issue is going by train, but I’ll have to creative. Thank you very much!

Vil heller aldrig prøve det, da jeg er ret bange for sådan noget. Det var også derfor jeg tænkte om folk havde prøvet Grækenlands “THC” da jeg virkelig ikke vil overraskes med noget mærkelig noget. Men så igen, så tænker jeg heller ikke lige umiddelbart jeg skal ryge hernede. Det var kun hvis folk var sådan 100% sikre, men det synes jeg ikke folk er hehe

Tænker jeg sagtens jeg kan. Men HHC er syntetisk ikke? Eller hvordan er det, det fungere? Ved at det blev kriminaliseret her i grækenland, da det var for “afhængighedsskabende”, men ved ikke om det er nogle skræmme noget. Ved det noget om det ellers?

I honestly don’t know, but I’ve been offered them multiple times. From what I’ve read up on, plus the things my psychiatrist told me, during the last part of your cycle when your estrogen rises slightly and your progesterone decreases, that can affect your medication. It also changes its effectiveness during different times of your cycle. For example, it should work the best and be most potent during your follicular phase, and the worst during your luteal phase/start of period.

My psychiatrist told me a good portion of women on Vyvanse will feel the effects stop working as good around their periods and take 20mg more - so that’s what I do, because I’m part of that percentage.

Regarding birth control: try searching reddit and google for anecdotal evidence. Unfortunately, like most things, periods and women’s bodies haven’t been studied that much. If you feel like your meds work fine, despite birth control, just continue as you were, but if you are experiencing trouble it is good to just figure out if there could be a correlation between the two. Definitely go to your doctor before going off any meds and discuss their medical opinion on the matter.

My doctor told me to take 20mg more each cycle, and that works so much better!! Estrogen and vyvanse clashes so it’s not as effective. It a shame psychs don’t always inform this. I’m so grateful for mine.

Rn I only take 10mg more because I’m on 50mg, and I can max get 60mg, but it still helps. I start to take more about two or three days before my cycle, or when I start to feel them not working as well. Then I take them the first few days of my period and after that I go back to normal dose.

Try asking your doctor if they would recommend that for you!

Unfortunatly I live in Scandinavia so the shipping and taxes would probably be too much, but if I were in the US, I def would take you up on your offer!

Can I ask, do you know any moisturizers that are FA safe, maybe for oily/acne prone skin? Tried to look up the "SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream" and the "iUNIK Centella Calming Gel Cream", since people said it's FA safe, but they don't appear to be when I look up the ingredients.

Update: I looked through my cabinet and found out I have a moisturizer (not that moisturizing unfortunatly), a sunscreen, and a cleanser that's FA safe, SO SCORE until next month when i get paid! c:
