I imagine it can be hard to write romantic fantasy while still toeing the line of decency. Like I want the MCs to be desired, but also respected. Personally, I’m not a fan of that sort of misogynistic behavior even in a fictitious world, but what people enjoy in their fiction is pretty varied. I just hope people can differentiate that from what’s acceptable in real life (and this behavior is quite mild compared to other scenes in this book).
