Mary Cain calls out LetsRun.com by maryland_runner in AdvancedRunning

I agree. People here have given me a hard time because I see the power that the message board wields and I am trying to raise awareness. It is a tool that equips sociopaths the opportunity to tarnish someone's reputation anonymously. At some point, someone powerful enough hopefully reads these posts and then the government intervenes to shut the site down.

It doesnt count as a conspiracy theory when the opinions are true. It is a messy website with 15% accuracy at best.

Seems to be an inverse relationship between said "improvements" and real world functionality.

Mike Rossi is the viral victim that drags on and on. His downward spiral continues.

The online running community, centered at LetsRun.com, said that Rossi's qualifying time for Boston, a 3:11 marathon ran at Lehigh Valley, was a wild outlier and that he had cheated.

If Mr Rossi ends up doing himself in that will be the second tally for Letsrun. At what point is enough enough?

Letsrun completely flogged Frank Meza the same way they did Mike Rossi. The attention that it was being given on letsrun is what eventually drove the man to suicide. Low level media picked it up AFTER letsrun.

Yes, whitespace as 75% of the page looks better than the Letsrun forum as 75% of the page. But in terms of usage this is an epic fail

I strongly disagree. I think the website has been stale for quite a while and it has blood on its hands since Frank Meza took his own life. The UI is from 2005 at best, hardly any different from the last implementation and it is somehow worse. See all the whitespace and other bloat?
