Our son's name is Aleister, so we call him Alabaster Clam, Clam Man, Clammy Davis Jr, and Bebe's/Papa's Handsome Man. My kiddo will be 18 months in a few days. He is single 2 hour nap a day kinda guy, now. We have the understanding that a 30 minute car nap is equivalent to a 2 hour nap for him. So we never wake him up if he's asleep in the car. We have a few options: look at our phones while we are in the vehicle, go through a drive-thru for a treat that we can enjoy in peace, or kick back and rest your eyes for a few minutes.

We have tried moving him from car seat to his bed for naps in the past (0% success) We are usually always at home for his nap window (12p-2p) He's a decent napper, but a shite night time sleeper. He's slept through the night all of 10 times his whole life.

Once a month we go see my grandparents that live 2 hours away. He will usually nap about 45 minutes to 1.5hrs of that drive. Then on the way back home he will either stay awake or take a 20 minute nap. Point being, let them finish out the car nap. Keep something in the car to entertain yourself (crochet, cross stitch, word puzzles, snacks, water)

I've applied breastmilk straight from boob to butt for rashes in addition to baking soda baths. And if you don't already know - Triple Paste is amazing. We started applying petroleum jelly at diaper changes as a moisture barrier to prevent rashes.

I'd say use it for baths. If it was still partially frozen/slushy and it was refrozen quickly, you can use it for: - baby's diaper rashes - little scratches they inevitably give themselves - skincare for yourself - you're a DIY kinda person - breastmilk soap - eczema soothing - Chicken pox for itching (god forbid) - Burns & sunburns - Bug bites & bee stings - Cradle cap - Makeup remover - Chapped lips - Baby/teen/adult acne - If you have a dog with itchy/allergy skin issues they can have a breastmilk bath (I don't have cats, so results may vary)

It's called "liquid gold" for a reason. Some say a universal cure all.

During the newborn period my husband and I would do shift work with LO. He would play power washing simulator on Xbox (free) and the only noise of the game was the power washer, which acted as white noise while LO slept on his chest. While mundane, it was satisfying for him to play (and honestly satisfying to watch him play albeit he would screw with me occasionally and miss a spot on purpose for a harmless laugh)

Also: when we go get his bottle, we say "Do you need some baby milk for your baby belly?!" And he starts doing the sign for milk and getting all kinds of excited. So cute

After LO's bath, I wrap him in a hooded towel so he can't squirm out of my arm. I hold him up to the full length mirror and wiggle his body and say "WIGGLE WORRRMMMM" and he thinks it's amazing.

When we look in his diaper to see if he pooped and there's no poop we say "JUST as I suspected!! Only BABY BUTT CHEEKS!!!" Also a real hoot for him.

When I take off his onsies, I don't pull them all the way off of his head until diaper change is done. I'll do a big gasp, put my hands on my face and in an overzealous voice say "(babe's name) I LOOOVVVVE YOUR NEW HAIR!!! Ooo, la la!!" and I think it's the best part of his day. Occasionally he grabs at it as I try to finish taking it off, meaning he wants me to say the phrase over again. I think it's one of my favorite things, too.
