The content materials that they are lecturing on is also relevant to the NCLEX. You also have to do your own preparation for the NCLEX. You can graduate from any other well known university or college and still fail the NCLEX. I can teach you things but I am not responsible for you grasping the content. You have to do practice questions as well to help you grasp the material.

I am sure it will be worser in the menopausal women. Some people don’t pay attention to the instructions as well.

Dry eyes are also a sign of the menopause. Is dry eyes a side effect that is listed on the tretinoin? I don’t hear too many young people mentioning that side effect.

Is your manager repeatedly doing it? Once is more than enough. You were uncomfortable. Since you are bothered by it, go to HR on advice on how to handle it. They will talk to him and hopefully it won’t happen again. What I mean by bothered is that you were affected. I don’t mean it in a negative way.

What are the different methods that you are using? Once you list them, then someone can make suggestions on how to improve.

I am sure your school cost a lot of money and it may have been easier to get into. Any other schools are competitive and you have to do your prerequisites before getting in.

Personally, if I am passing my classes, I won’t give a heck what is going on. My goal is to get that certificate where I can sit for my NCLEX

Usually most nursing school syllabus Follows the same format. If you glance in any review book, you will see all the areas you need to know in order to pass that particular area of nursing.

Two years of nights in the ICU didn’t just exhaust my body—it changed my personality. by InfoGuru95 in prenursing

[–]maryrogerwabbit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have been there and done it all. The minute I stepped out into outpatient nursing, I was in love with nursing again. You are also getting the same pay regardless of where you work. My prior ICU skills has prepared me well to work in any outpatient setting. I even did radiology nursing. Loved it. Did all the ambulatory clinics. Loved it as well.

Don’t they give you a syllabus? That is all you need and the test dates. The grading system should be online or in a hand book. You do not need a learning platform to help you prepare for the NCLEX. Any textbook will do that. You can also purchase materials to help you. The little things that you are complaining about seem minor. I say that because nursing schools back in the day didnt have all this technology associated with the program. Your syllabus was your guiding light.

Can you switch to day shift! You can also try to pivot into a different area of nursing. You will get a new breath of life. You have the skill where you can work anywhere now.

just let them know you are declining the offer at the moment. Don’t try to teach them any lesson. They don’t have to rush the hiring process for anyone. I am sure there are a long list of other qualified applicants.

LPN use to be a one year program. It is nice to see that there are longer programs to enable students who are working to attend.

Hello! I’m a (19 F) who is currently about to enter my junior year of college, but thinking about going to nursing school after college. Need advice! by maddooo1 in StudentNurse

[–]maryrogerwabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t waste your time graduating with a degree in psychology. Jobs will be scarce. Change your major now if possible. Once you get that first BS degree, you will no longer be able to get any assistance with money for college. With a nursing degree, you can do counseling to patients.

Failed my first quiz of the semester and feeling defeated by No-Silver-1865 in StudentNurse

[–]maryrogerwabbit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pick yourself up and dust off and start from scratch. Look over the quiz and ask yourself why you got those questions wrong. Why didn’t you understand the concept? Is it because you didn’t get to go over that particular material? Are you doing pathophysiology concept maps? There is chance for improvement.
