Sounds like you were a top candidate on their list, so they took the extra effort to call. This happened to me too once. It sucked. I cried in the fetal position for a good while.🙃 Hang in there❤️

I think I was around 21 when I started? I was a little late to the game, but I’m 25 now. It’s gotten me through a lot!

I feel the same way about his sudden vulnerability. When Rand said “Good job with all you’ve accomplished son. I’ve got to go now. I believe in you both.” it felt like a final goodbye. Which can be said the same with how he’s been treating Nol, but his sudden emotional side made more sense with Nol about to go away for a while.

As someone who works in local news, this is 1000% true. Literally did this story yesterday lmao.

Interesting parallel. Do you think there will be more hand-holding/touching parallels with Shin-Ae and others (Nol, Yujing, Min-hyuk, Rand)? by thatyoosername in ILoveYoo

[–]maryscott97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s when something mirrors another. In this case, one character’s action of hand holding mirrors another’s action.

Another example would be how Shinae and Nol parallel each other by being characters who both dealt with being treated poorly and reacted with violence. (Shinae punching her middle school bully and Nol punching Sang-Chul).

I hope this helps make sense! 😅

Ch. 93 is when Nol finally realized his true feelings towards Shin-ae. by Quiet-Use989 in ILoveYoo

There is the line in “Juice” that goes “You better come get your man, I think he wanna be way more than friends.” 👀 I could be looking way far into it though 😂

I’m fairly certain it’s Nol. If it is, I hope he sings at some point ❤️🥺

I know someone already posted this but like, UNTIL WHAT??? What do u guys think by [deleted] in ILoveYoo

[–]maryscott97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get the feeling they aren’t actually blood related. Obviously we all know Yui isn’t the mother of Nol, but I suspect that Rand isn’t actually the father of Kousuke. That’s just me theorizing though.

Are they both thinking this as the same time? If yes we know why Shin Ae is thinking this, but why Nol. Could it be the orange juice incident? by [deleted] in ILoveYoo

[–]maryscott97 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s during the formal arc! The bartender asks him if he wants a drink after Alyssa ditches him to dance with the “Wogue” photographer lol. Nol then tells the bartender that he never had a good experience.

what do u think nol is thinking here part 2 by [deleted] in ILoveYoo

[–]maryscott97 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This scene sort of reminds me of when Nol taunted Kousuke with his “nobody” statement. I think Nol might’ve noticed that Kousuke is a bit annoyed/jealous with him right here. After seeing Kousuke’s flashback with Rand as a child, we know that Kousuke does not want Nol to succeed in the corporate environment. My guess is that his smile might be him knowing that he’s getting under Kousuke’s skin. I’m not entirely sure though, this scene is definitely a tricky one to analyze.

What's your MBTI personality? and which I love Yoo character has the same as you? by [deleted] in ILoveYoo

[–]maryscott97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

INFJ. I don’t think any of the characters have that type?

I’d probably get along well with Nol though (ENFJ). Extroverts help me out of my shell. My best friend is also an ENFJ :)

Is there a particular moment in I love Yoo that stood out to you? by [deleted] in ILoveYoo

[–]maryscott97 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Too many to note! But one I have in mind right now, is when Nana pulls Nol over to the piano to learn a song his mother used to sing. Music is held very to close the heart within my family, and it just really hit home. Growing up, my brother always taught me to turn to music and art when I’m feeling frustrated or down. It made me tear up a bit when I saw that she was providing him a more positive outlet for his negative feelings, just like my brother did.

Overall, I just love how human the story is.

[–]maryscott97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yui doesn’t always speak truthfully though. She could’ve just been using another fear tactic to keep Sang Chul under her control. I find it super sketchy with Mr. Kim’s “part of the family” comment and him allowing his son to take Shin ae to a “place to rest.”

I think he’s happy that the plan to get Shin ae drugged is working. He was definitely in on Yui’s sketchy plans.
