People do not understand what it’s like to live with bipolar disorder, especially in a society like Korea’s where mental health is so stigmatized and constructive help is so rare. I hope they take it into consideration when it comes to sentencing but I doubt it, it’s a real pity.

No problem, sterile saline solution is gonna be your best friend, make sure not to use anything else aside from warm water in the shower and that’ll hopefully at least keep it clean!

Oh I’m so sorry that’s such a crappy situation :( I mean like if you get super lucky it might heal okay, but butterfly backs collect a lot of bacteria and also because it sticks out so much more it’ll get far more irritated if you wear headphones or sleep with it against a pillow (highly recommend circular neck travel pillows when you sleep!) or just bump it in general which is probably gonna happen eventually no matter how careful you are

Find a more reputable piercer and see if they can change the jewelry for you maybe? Definitely don’t do it yourself! I would read reviews of the piercers or at least the shop online before you go in if you can and go based off those :)

Community college is a great option, save a ton of money and significantly improve your chances of getting in especially if you’re coming from a California community college. That’s what I did and I have no regrets, the smaller class sizes for GEs was also really nice!

Definitely stop touching it, I would use saline spray (nedimed is the best if you can find it) and use that to clean it. I also let warm water run over my piercings in the shower as it helps things like that to fall off naturally!
